I'm sold on my next build being a mini-itx in this case, I've always had full size ATX towers that are annoying. Saw a sweet build on pcpartpicker that incorporated a customer rgb led strip and 5" screen for looped videos that was totally amazing.
@@GR-cd2kx it’s the PNY XLR8. It’s pretty cozy in there, 2mm clearance longways. I had to route the 4x 8pin through the front of the case because the 4x 8pin to 12pin is an absolute chonker, but other than that the build was smooth sailing :D
Nah we just need to stop being stupid and buying these sized gpus. Don't buy them and they will try change up what they are doing instead of mak8ng them bigger and bigger rather than making the same sized gpu mote powerful. The size increasing like this make me curious if they are struggling with a lack of innovation.

Was recently debating between this case or the Hyte Revolt 3. Grabbed the Revolt 3 for $170 at Best Buy with included power supply. I like the looks of the NR200 slightly more though.
NR200P proving it is still an absolute beast in 2023. Do you reckon this build might be better with a side mounted 240mm AIO? One thing that irks me with the NR200P is the wasted space at the front (where you'd mount a HDD on top of the PSU cage) when using an ordinary 120mm cooler.
I love the look of this case, esp with the glass. I agree the front panel is a total waste of space they could add maybe another radiator or spot for fans there instead. Maybe if they made a nr300p :)
@@squirrelsinjacket1804 The ASUS Prime AP201 and Jonsbo D31 are good modern alternatives to the NR200, and support MATX to boot. Nick has done videos on both, I think!
I have an aio h1150i mounted in this case and the radiator goes on the side without problems. Only I can't put the glass in since it doesn't dissipate the heat, it has to be the grill.
Upgrade from a Cooler master h100 to NR200 for this type of build-ability Both these cases are amazing! I really liked your video back then with the h100!
My experience after a few NR200p Builds: 4090 Inno3D OC is a tight fit, but it’s works without cutting something. 750w PSU works fine for a 450w 4090 (stock Powerlimit) with 5800x or 5800x3d. Probably the same with similar TDP AMD CPUs… Total system draw in gaming 350-500w. Worst case Szenario 600w which is still no problem für the PSU efficiency. On top of this you would have the possibility for Undervolting and save even more energy Scythe Fuma 2 wouldn’t fit with Glass panel. (Mesh was no problem) But bending the pipe Ends a little bit made it fit, no big modification but worth mentioning . Temps are perfect and it’s a silent build. You are welcome 😉
3090 asus tuf + 7800x3d, will these 2 be enough with 750w psu? Also im thiking toward Peerless Assassin 120 fe cooler, does this fit the nr200p with TG on?

i initially thought that the case was white but looks purple because of lighting. but at 8:04, can see how beautiful the purple colour of the case is. if i have the extra money, i'd love to have a build using the NR200
One thing you might have missed on is the HDD mounted bracket that fits on the side panel. Some people may like to fit an HDD because the cost per gigabyte for a HDD is still better then an SSD. Plus, the size of games legitimately getting bigger as development progresses further.
It can also add 2 more SSD or HDD 2.5 mm on the front behind the lid using 4 screws on 4 side of SSD or HDD then you can attach them like in this video th-cam.com/video/iczhKgesXws/w-d-xo.html
I initially thought my 4090 won't fit but there is a way to fit it in. you need to remove your CPU cooler and PSU. insert your GPU first diagonally. once GPU is set. install your CPU cooler and PSU
I'm pretty confident that the hot air from the GPU will be frying the chipset and the bottom SSD on that board :) Oh and, the chipset and the bottom SSD not only share a heatsink, but that heatsink is actually linked to the VRM heatsink through a heat pipe :)
I managed to fit a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X in this case. That's a 3.5 slot GPU. I had to unscrew the bottom post to put it in, but of fits and since the bottom panel is mesh the GPU isn't choked. Wonderful little case. 😃
I love your content (and the music!) but you know what - show the "tin snips" method in the bonus round. I think a lot of folks would love to see the hacks that make these builds work and would be a good differentiator for you content - IMHO :)
There are a few that will fit. Unfortunately I don't have more cards to test 😔

Adding some more reference on GPU compatibility i fitted a xfx merc 310 black 7900xtx (which is huge) it protrudes that front cut out but it does not touch the front panel at all
I had to take the frame apart to get my Strix 3080 in mine... Also you can get an AIO up top if you're willing to cut a notch out of the frame of one of the fans to clear ram sticks. Probably be fine with lowpro ram.
I fitted RTX 4090 MSI Suprim X into this case by removing all the screws from the edges of the chasis. Asked my wife to spread the sides open while I push the GPU inside. It wasn't a pretty surgery but it worked.
Like I said NR200P is a case aging with grace when compare to case from the same period of time. I think even NR200P MAX is not qualify to install any 4090 due to the intake clearance. And the bottom intake just messes with the airflow. My laterst upgrade is to fit a deshroud Inno 3D ichill 4090 with 2 T30 bottom intake into NR200P. I am waiting a set of 4.5cm tall 3D print feet for NR200P so the airflow won't be limited while in full load. I didn't bother to upgrade my PSU as I only use 5800X3D in this build. Nothing SF750 can't handle.

Managed to fit a phantom 4090 in the nr200p but the 3 x 8 pin connector is bended to hell but not the 12 pin. I havent had any problems since the 4090 release
Its great that the Top fans are connected to the top with these grills but why it needed to be that thick. Just bought some Bequiet silent wings 4 and they dont fit with my cpu cooler (Thermalright PA) dont know what is touching the grills but the Fans have a higher hub than other so the middle stops the fan. Dont know if someone have a solution to mount the fans to the top without destroy it :D
@@GearSeekers Where is part when you put ASUS RTX 4090 into NR200? Did I miss something? Asus card is still outside the case. I understand the reason - card is too big - I know, because I have ASUS RTX 4090 at home. I also have NR200P ... there are two possible ways - 1) cut bigger hole, 2) unmount fans from RTX and put them separately into case (without covering part).
That was something I was going to include but it was fine and a non-issue so I didn't mention it. Usually when I don't say something then it's not worth addressing. If you're interested I'll probably mention it in a NR200P Max video

I've always thought about going SFF at some point, is the case volume really small enough that you don't need additional intake or exhaust fans and the CPU/ GPU fans provide enough air flow/static pressure on their own to blow hot air from their respective fins directly out of the case?
I've built in this case a couple of times for people, and it comes with 2 120mm fans. If you don't put a ginormous GPU in it, you can pull air in from the bottom with 1 fan out the top with the other. Otherwise you could just put both in the top. The R9 5900X (NH-U12A) and the 12600K (NH-D12L) managed to stay in the mid-70s under load. Only had a single slot Quadro card and dual slot 5700XT in those builds, but they worked out well too.
Hi! Great review! I want to ask if there is any chance for my sapphire radeon rx 7900 xtx nitro vapor to fit in that case. The problem is that it has 71.6 mm height and cooler master says that in can only fit up to 60mm GPUs. 4090 founder's edition has 61mm height and i see that there is a gap below the card.

I use a 180 degree angled adapter from mod cable with my 4090 FE in my NR200P works beautifully!

Fuma 2 with TG fits depending on your motherboard, fits no problem in mine with an ASUS board.

The TUF 40 series may not slide in that little whole in the front chassis but you can remove the front chassis completely with 4 screws...

Have you tried installing the gigabyte from the bottom instead? That's how I got my sapphire nitro 7900 xtx to fit nr200. The bottom panel can open.

Also Ventus 3x from MSI is one of the relatively "slim" models of RTX 4090 that could fit in NR200.
There are a few that will fit. Unfortunately I don't have more cards to test 😔

It has a different, vertical GPU-only layout compared to NR200 or NR200P
More room in the regular NR200.
The NR200 has much better GPU clearance
PNY xlr8 4090 fits. Just have to take half the case rails off first, and build around the GPU. No cutting.
