In the back roots past PC Nyanza Hq offices there used to be a mason lodge, we would walk past it hurriedly. It was in between woods we couldn't see it. Tulijua tu iko hapo.
Now this video does Ksm alot of justice. Ksm may be small but it certainly is the best city in Kenya. Yet to meet one who was disappointed with what he found
Before cutting off the matatus from the CDB, the administration could have considered introducing a few city circulating buses. As it is now, too much man hours are lost for businesses and jobs when citizens have to make those long walks; in the heat moreover!
a city near the lake but is not built around the lake like in most parts of the world is like a waste. It's like going to Mombasa and most activities are away from the ocean.
Most of the land around the lake is owned by Kenya Railways. The city has to find a way of freeing up this prime land for commercial development. Hopefully the Lakefront Authority is doing something about it. I agree with you that the city’s prosperity is inherently tied to it’s ability to tap into this great resource.
This is good work Queeny. I know part of Kisumu but i thank you for taking me for update ride. Its ling since i went through the back street but your free ride has refreshed my mind. Keep up dear.
It would be better without the out of control billboards. Is there a sign ordinance in this town? Needs to be updated to bring some sanity. I get so distracted watching these videos and I imagine drivers and riders feel the same. I would love to hear your opinion on this issue.
Looking forward to such a video. In any case advertising does not need to be this intrusive for it to be effective. I’ve seen jurisdictions where signs and billboards are tightly controlled resulting in amazing and beautiful streetscapes
Kisumu now needs tall buildings like kanairo it would change Kenya and also remove those building along the water we need to be able to see nam lolwe without going to the beach
Kisumu is soo dang clean and well planned! Interestingly there are no posters plastered all over! Good job kisumu government 👏 👍
Wow Kisumu looks very smart and clean
You do a lovely job. Kisumu is my city, born and bred but I haven't been back there in 20+ years.
More and more clean Sis, and
more blue and white colors
(like in Mombasa) :
thank you Grâce!
The palm trees along odinga road will turnout to look amazing just like parklands
Ati the clock resembles the one in Paris? Staaap! That’s a stretch!!
Kisumu has changed under Nyong'o he needs to improve the other towns too, Muhoroni, Maseno and the others.
And Ahero
Maseno is in siaya
It's a step by step process from now on one town at a time
Maseno is in border with kisumu and vihiga
@@dadysontv Maseno is in Vihiga
Kisumu is so cool and beautiful
It is!

I don't have to go to town to get updates of the city.. thanks girl keep updating us
Welcome 🙏🏿!
Kindly research on the history and inform us...e.g. the Tower....when was it out up,by whom, and why?👍👍
Looks very nice and clean. What is happening where lwang'ni beach used to be?
Kenya port took over. Good (oil) pass by train to the ship sailing to Uganda
Now this video does Ksm alot of justice. Ksm may be small but it certainly is the best city in Kenya. Yet to meet one who was disappointed with what he found

A strategy to make residents wake up early for work?
@@s.arunda1225 True life is slow in Ksm unlike Nairobi

It's not a waste...they know the importance of conservation for sustainability
We love our city we're doing just fine thank you
I know this town like the back of my hand and am from Central (thinks)
That's how it's supposed to be.
This is good work Queeny. I know part of Kisumu but i thank you for taking me for update ride. Its ling since i went through the back street but your free ride has refreshed my mind. Keep up dear.
Keep camera low and steady please 📸

I intend to do a video to just focus on advertising and bill boards in Kisumu. I think then I can have feedback after looking at all aspects.🙏🏿

Nothing wrong with having billboards even great cities like New York have them
The general here in Nairobi needs to learn a thing or two on how to run a City. No hawkers and generally clean.
Next time film a bit lower, we want to see the roads.
Trust me, you will not be disappointed by the roads. So clean

Kisumu is a very small village with only one serious street😃 But anyways, great improvement🔥
😐Should've just kept your comment to yourself.
I think that if you feel sooo squeezed by its tiny size then my advice would be that you should stick at your doorstep and don't come near it.
Nairobi si kwenu nani wacha kudharau kisumu
Never reply to bitter people, save your energy..
Wanted to comment but realized I should not..
Kampalans should. Visit Kisumu.. they always think kampala is best but in my opinion it's like nakuru
I know, right?😜
what's the average rent for a one bedroom near town?
Near town will be 15k those are estates like tom mboya milimani and polyview
All towns in Kenya should set aside no car days and town cleaning.
True
Is this matatu arrangement permanent?
Not sure, we wait for directives
Matatus are not allowed in Ksm CBD since the days of Mayor Shakil. That's more than 20yrs ago
Yurop
Hey ....how are you
Fine thanks, you?
I think it would be good if you don't tamper with the camera.
