This is a great video. I am now convinced I have nowhere near enough patience to stipple my own pistol competently.
Yeah it looks like a ton of work and a huge pain in the ass
No room error which makes it that much more tedious.
Facts
my thoughts exactly. worthy every penny to have it done!
I started this video thinking “How to absolutely destroy your Glock” and I ended thinking “look at that stipple, that’s a damn nice stipple”
He destroyed the warranty.
Hands-down, you were one of the best hand stipplers I’ve ever seen that shit looks like it was done with the laser. 👏🏼
Thank you 🙏🏼
Bro, I also stipple my own guns and do undercuts. I even have my own HOW TO STIPPLE video but this is a VERY good video. I truly enjoyed watching every second. Great step by step demonstration and end product. Thanks for it!!
Thank you !
All that to get your channel mentioned 🤡
Beautiful work!
@@turbomunchreading way too deeply into this. Its simply another smith who's impressed jfc
This is the cleanest stipple job I have ever seen! It's so perfect it looks like a machine did it! Great job and great video! ✌️
You're the real mvp for showing the whole process
This was the best how to stipple vid I’ve ever seen
I can’t even begin to describe how satisfying this is to watch lol. I don’t even plan on doing it, it’s just cathartic
Phenomenal work! Very clean and symmetrical work.
For anyone considering doing their own: don’t. It will not end up looking like this. This guy obviously has a lot of experience and many frames to practice on. Don’t risk ruining your $500+, brand new firearm just because you saw a video of a guy who made it look easy.
I’ve stippled a few of mine in the past, meticulously taking my time, watching hundreds of videos, using the correct tools, and regretted each one after. In fact, hated one so much that I ended up selling the whole firearm and ended up replacing it. It’s never as simple as people in videos make it seem.
Plastic isn’t a forgiving medium and mistakes are not easily corrected, should you go outside the lines or not pattern correctly. If you really want it stippled, pay once, cry once and have a pro do it for you. It will still be cheaper than buying a new frame after you mess up! And if you really want to stipple yourself, do it on some of your polymer mag plates or AR mags - much cheaper and easier to replace!
I completely agree. The casual viewer likely can't appreciate the level of skill required to properly execute this job as well as the guy in the video!
Just because you cant do something doesnt mean everyone cannot. You wrote alot of words tip toeing around the fact that youre a fudd. Do better in life L
Just a word of advice. If you don’t have the tools, a steady hand or the patience, maybe this isn’t for you. Maybe even buy a junk or toy or airsoft gun to practice on first.
After a decade in automotive service I can comfortably ask how much you charge?😂
I started by stippling magpul mags, some old Chinese knives. My scale
Steady hand and amazing attention to detail. I don't think I could attempt this.
I really appreciate you showing a step by step and info on what tools to use. I've been wanting to get into this for a while. Thank you for passing knowledge on
Excellent job. Nice attention to detail. Truly an art, man. The tools, skills, and patience necessary is worthy of praise.
Kudos to you and anyone that can do this. I could never do something this tedious.
Letting the tools do the work and not forcing them. Good stuff
I yelled stop at my computer for the first 4 minutes and then said wow for the last 3. I started to become more than slightly impressed when you used the 800 grit to smooth and polish. Cutting into the frame to border the stipple was pure art. Now, I know more than my share about plastics and abrasives and this is not about the gun or the handle or the materials. This is about a patient (painfully patient) and steady hand. Also the vision to make the marks EXACTLY the same size and depth and perfectly symmetrical. The only thing wrong with this video is the “how to” part. This is not putting on the stipple tape that you can re-adjust, this is a one and done performance. Beautifully done but, you’ve scared me off touching my guns with anything sharper than my cleaning cloth.
Man I really appreciate you giving us the game. Showing exact bits and everything. Your a real one. I’m so glad I’m subscribed to you. And your work is always amazing 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽
the way you talk is so cool and hip. you sound like a down ass g. like an around the way homie. 🙄
@@cockmeatsandwich007 it’s ok if your gay you can come out the closet now we wont judge you 😆
By far the best looking stippling I've ever seen.
Awesome job explaining what we shooters don't get to see! This was helpful and look forward to more educational videos. 👍
THE Best stippling job I’ve seen…PERIOD. And to THINK “I” might give it a try…hmm, Idk now.
I love stippling my guns, and buying grips and stippling them, love watching your stuff man!
That was really impressive. The finished product looks amazing too. I would love to try this myself but I wouldn't risk messing up my gun.
Buy a cheap bb gun to practice on🤙🏼
I’ve been practicing with cheap magpul grips for an ar15
@@donnie555 great idea!
Thank you so much for this video. I wish i had the chance to send my Glock frames to you and get this gorgeous work at them. But since I live very far overseas, i'll give it a try. Hope i get 10% of this perfection.
Great video! No stone left unturned. Thank you. Awesome work!
Beautiful work! Unbelievable skills!!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
I have watched this video like 4 times. I already know what each step looks like but this video is just relaxing lol.
That's a very well-honed skill you have there. Very steady hands and great touch.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Excellent work. I always wondered how you guys do that so well. I've done a little work on handguns and frames, but I can't bring myself to take a dremel and iron to it. You make it look easy :)
When I used to shoot in the IDPA I just use skateboard tape gives an amazing grip and doesn't damage the gun
Man, that's some killer work there, and so freakin satisfying to watch 👏👏👏
Man that was an awesome detailed video, thanks for sharing to help others.that came out really nice, we all appreciate your time ,thanks for putting that out there for all of us.
well done. you are an honorary _"GLOCK AMORER"_ like no other.
Very well done! I’ve stippled a few of mine years ago. I started off practicing on the back straps and speed loader so my first time wasn’t on the gun.
Just another nice comment I'm gonna do this in my next SDI class and this is grate content thankyou
Your hand/eye is simply amazing, incredible work.
Looking forward to getting my Mac 9 DS done by you! You're definitely a master at your craft!
Jesus that looks good. I had my doubts til the end but good job
Very well executed! Gun looks great and grippy. You have good hands, but I suspect viewers who attempt your technique will be disappointed when they discover they don't have the technical hand skills to pull the job off as well as you.
Wow you sir are a beast outstanding craftsmanship.
Years ago I did my M&P and did pretty good.a lot of room for error’s for sure
Very tedious work. I respect anyone who does this. Very clean work
If you didn’t have a video of all being done by hand, you would be almost certain it was done with a laser is cnc. Seriously talented
Awesome video. Just got a kit in and some practice grips. Looking forward to making some not nearly this amazing looking! Keep up the great work!
Came out way better than I thought it would but I’m still going to the gunsmith!
That’s sick love it I want to learn not only to save some money but that’s an awesome talent to have
I appreciate the work, but I just can’t help but feel cutting into the frame like that will weaken the polymer frame to the point of cracking if it drops.
Great hand precision!!!
You did a good job, I did my G19 just like the way you did but your solder tip is better.
Looks phenomenal!
Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. What is the sanding tool? Looks shorter and easier to handle than Dremel flex shaft.
Cool video and fun to watch, good job bro looks clean!
I’ve been practicing a lot. About to do my first stipple on an sig saucer frame since it’s kinda the cheapest frame I can get my hands on before I do my Glock 19.
Very nice. You have steady hands.
Beautiful work
Boarders, under cuts, gas pedal would be the most difficult. Think I’ll snag some practice pieces off line. I have a 19x I’m eyeing at doing myself. If I take my time and spent a full day I bet I could get in the ball park of this.
Wow. Amazing job. I would manage to eff it up in no time.
Nicely done! Your work is absolutely beautiful. You made it look easy. I just buy frame's that have the mods I like. I've been gunsmithing for 27 years and it's just not worth the time to stipple a Glock. Especially with so many badass frame's on the market. I really enjoy building custom Glock's that don't have a single Glock part! 😂
Incredible job!
I offer professional gun stippling in South Dakota $100 a gun/rifle. And boy do the hunters go crazy, they love the choice of custom engravings; just did an FN 5.7 with old English FN on the grip on one side dudes initials on the other side 👌came out nicely
Awesome video. Nice job and good lay out of how to stipple Glocks .
I tried doing some stippling on a pistol. Let's just say that if I saw your video first, it would have either come out way better....or I wouldn't have even attempted to do it. Very good job, looks beautiful. Mine......not so much. 🥴
Where do I send my frame and money
Ain't no way I would try this on my glock 19. Way braver then me good sir.
This is exactly why WTT does my stippling lol.
This looks so good I thought it was lasered!
Very talented indeed. Great work.
That is some damn fine work.
The only reservation I have about stippling my glock is that rough grips are like sand paper on your stomach when you appendix carry.
You do amazing work! I bet these take a lot of time, patience and practice! Great video
Takes a very long time to do this good of work by hand. Would take about 2 minutes by lazer 😂
Man that’s so dope I really want to learn how to do this!
Nice skill set Sir.
I recently decided to sell an older Glock that was custom stippled by a shop what I found out is a lot of shops won't buy a firearm that's been stippled because it's a modification to the overall frame something to consider ahead of time
Nice video, but are we not worried and weakening the structural integrity of the frame?
What tip are you using for the stippling job? Great work btw very clean
Yes, I would like to know also. Thanks!
He made the bit
@@williamcram6052god dammit i’m here looking for this answer. it looks like it’s just a square though
It looks like the small Philips from OTD that he is orienting at a 45 degree angle
Wow. Absolutely beautiful job
The only time I’ve even seen the stippling look acceptable and actually adding to the aesthetics. I’d actually be interested in having this done. Or at least I wouldn’t hate it. Most of the time people brag in videos about their high school level talent. And this only time I’ve seen a stippling job I’d debatably prefer over stock.
There's a hundred companies that do stippling this good
I love Glocks I just wish they gave you better sights and stippling options if wanted
Holy microplastics batman!
Love the content. I hope you keep posting more videos. Question…do you ever have problems with symmetrical textures getting bunched up against an edge or not aligning at a point? If so, how do you prevent/avoid that?
Beautiful work! That made my hands sweaty. 😂
Oh man, I just go straight to stippling over Glock’s texture😂😂😂. Home invader doesn’t care how pretty your gun looks. However, that looks really nice, great stipple job.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Beautiful!
That was a very clean job my guy. Good stuff. Good work. How much to stipple my px4 storm?
Beatiful work
Cool video dude thanks!
Beautiful work! Much respect sincerely :) Would you mind if I ask what tip is being used to accomplish that pattern? Or what soldering gun if it comes with that tip? Would love to try it myself but no clue on what to get that produces that pattern you repeat so precisely into the pistol grip? I'm sure I can do with within my first eighty or ninety tries ;), but I'm up for trying.
Came out clean AF
I would love to know what tip you used for the stipple
amazing work, i think ill try it on a 3d print 1st :)
The only thing this taught me was that 10 mins in I would have ruined my Glock because I was impatient and went too fast. 😂
Bro. Bless you for blessing us 🙌🏽
Do you recommend a 25w or 30w wood burner for stippling a glock frame? Amazing work by the way!
Very clean work man
As usual, well done. Great video too brotha
Very nice work those look great.
I wonder if this affects the structural integrity surely it must because you are surely thinning the frame
Glock has voided hundreds of warranties for stippling the frame.
@@dannyhayes664 seems fair
Absolutely does!!!
No. It doesn't
Fantastic. Cant some CNC machine be programmed to do this and just put the frame in a jig and hit GO?
you can actually get pretty good practice on the carrying case your pistol comes in!
That is a beautiful job man..damn I love 5he way that stitch stipple looks..at the beginning of the video it's like wtf lol..nice work..the undercut I do confidently..but I've yet to stipple a frame
Good Work, but wouldn't it be easier just to get a better stippled gun in the first place? S&W have a super grippy texture, so do the walthers and H&K's
