    That's a great brake setup. I'm running basically the same setup on my Ed6 Civic Hatchback. 11inch Mini Cooper Drilled slotted Rotors with Dc2 Integra Type-R Calipers, SS braided Lines, upgraded bigger Master cylinder nd Brake Booster.

    bigger breaks don't make your car stop earlier, they just handle heat better overtime

    • @TURBOTRISTO
      @TURBOTRISTO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes correct, it’s about how much bite the pads have

      @@TURBOTRISTO not even that, if you want to break in less space you need wider tyres (both in width and diameter), the stock breaks can lock up the tyres as good as the after market ones. Therefore no, bigger breaks or more powerful breaks ≠ less breaking distance.

    Is the Valve cover painted or powdercoated? As well as the Intake Manifold?

    • @TURBOTRISTO
      @TURBOTRISTO  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      G’day Will, I painted everything myself even the whole car on the outside it used to be green, the intake manifold and valve cover are painted with VHT wrinkle paint I have done a number of tutorials on how to paint these covers check out my videos and please help the channel grow by subscribing ❤️🇦🇺

    Hi Tristan! Does the brake caliper fit the standard so4 spindle? Thanks

    • @TURBOTRISTO

      Does not fit hatch backs with 238mm stock brakes

    • @sleepywoood
      @sleepywoood 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TURBOTRISTO my standard ek is 262mm disc hence that is why I'm wondering if the calipers from integra/ek9 calipers will fit the holes on the spindle. Hmmmnn

    Not to give you the shits, but idling without any load during break-in is not a good practice. Apparently you can end up with glazed cyl walls as a result. Nevertheless, congrats on firing up the new motor!

    Bro you're going to mess that engine up by reving it on the first start up you haven't even started to seat the rings you shouldn't even rev it past 3k rpms until full break in

      @@TURBOTRISTO Just trying to look out for you man I don't know how you plan on seating the rings but from what I've learned along time ago Honda recommends driving in 3rd gear at 3k rpms increase rpms to 4k rpms then let the engine rev down to 3k rpms do this 12 times if has worked flawlessly for me and my brothers for over 15 years with compression tests proven results
