gas boiler no heat multiple issues merch = teespring.com/... lavimoniere productions llc subscribe to my channel / @stevenlavimoniere web site lavimoniereplum...
I had a little old lady who was 95 years old who was using cut up bicycle tire inner tubes and clamps to fix her leaky pipes due to hard water. I was working on her oil boiler and turned around to see her on a ladder fixing another pinhole leak in her copper pipes. She had over a 100 or more repairs and this was back in the early 80's so I did not have a camera phone to take a picture> I suggested she have someone replace her old copper pipes with plastic pipe and she said nope "I fix the damn pipes until I die" lol.
I could feel your frustration on that one steve. No freaking lights, a huge mess, clamps, bubblegum and tape holding the place together. Kind of place you want to get the hell out of and cant because of all the bullshit wrong
The ring of fire that guy better be worried about is all that garbage laying around the basement! Talk about your fire hazard!!! Man!! He's gonna get some heat thats for sure!! No TajMahal that for sure!!! LOL Might want to put that dude on a clean up program!! Great Job Steve!!

Absolutely amazing - a real dirty dank dungeon it sure was no Taj Mahal. That heating system and associated electrics were horrendous and unsafe. Steve I reckon you could spend at least 3 full days there bringing it all up to a reasonable standard. At least you got it working for him - how long before the next call out? 😀
Great video Steve. Wonder if the whole house was as bad as the basement? When he said he could not get to some of the radiators to bleed them. Place looks like a breeding ground for snakes.
One quick question. On the thermostat you replaced, could that extra 3rd wire be "common"? I'm no boiler expert, but sometimes thermostats need that extra wire connected to the common terminal on the furnace board to power them. I know the old thermostat you removed was a standard Mercury style not requiring any type of power. But that 3rd wire must be part of the heating low voltage circuit. What do you think?
If you leave the fan switch to "ON" position it will drain the batteries much quicker because it will be constantly energizing the blower relay in stat.
wait till he sees that bill. Not well maintained mamma. No basement lights charge an inconvenience fee of $50.00. Paint cans look like they are from WW2.
connector p4 (circulator) has 6 pins for 1013-100 as compared to 4 pins (actuall uses 3) for 1013-200. how do i resolve that problem. Otherwise everything are the same.
That ain’t no Taj Mahal, definitely not, keep ya there for days, how about a few lightbulbs? To all the gas heating people, please.get your system checked yearly, they do need service.
"Na, I've got tons of tape"...... A new saying for you Steve.....lol

You should have fixed the feeder before the circulator to see if it comes back to life and save the guy a couple bucks.
