Hi Ell, the second button on your mirror is heater for clearing the steam away - please don’t leave it on. We have exactly the same mirror/taps/shower in our flat in Essex as it seems to be what the developer uses for all their flats! Congrats 💓💓

Congratulations, I can't wait to see both of your journeys and how you decorate your flats. PS. I know alot of the comments say about painting the doors white but I actually like the dark features of them. I would instead focus more on getting better lighting right throughout the flat so it doesn't feel so dark and dull before changing any door colours (maybe spotlights as you said but definitely ALOT of them) to see if that improves the lighting ! xx
