i like how we make friends with the bosses we fight in gv3. it allows players to get to know them individually and have more favorite characters than just immediately fighting and completing the level. i could see all 7 of them meeting up at a local diner late at night during their spare time. ✌️🥺
This is genuinely my favourite part of the game. Gameplay is great but the fact that there’s almost an hour of optional conversations with a lot of them being as wholesome and charming as they are really does help this game. Genuinely, my favourite thing to do after playing a stage is checking out what new conversation I get

I did some research. So, the reason why Gunvolt is a dog in GV3 is because it's a reference to Japanese mythology: a Raiju. The Raiju is the companion of the Raijin, the Shinto god of lightning, and is composed of or wrapped in lightning. The Raiju can take form of a white-blue dog or wolf. I still don't understand why Gunvolt is still considered a "Primal Dragon," but I guess Inti Creates wanted to maintain Gunvolt's dragon and Copen's tiger motif. 🤷
