Flew Norse Atlantic from JFK Terminal 7 to London Gatwick on Friday November 3rd 2023. Booked my self and son via the web. Bought the add on of lounge access before my flight, not cheap. Delighted to discover that the Terminal 7 airport lounge does NOT accept bookings from Norse and you have to pay $65 at the door to access the lounge. I complained to the gate staff, and they knew about this. So delighted to have been defrauded by Norse Atlantic Airways taking cash from me to book something their staff knew was impossible. From what the airport lounge staff said, this is a regular occurance. So I'm spreading the love by leaving this comment in as many Norse videos that I can find.
If anyone else has a long connection in Gatwick (and light on luggage) you can take the Gatwick Express train into London Victoria train station (30 mins travel time), Buckingham Palace is less than 10 mins walk from London Victoria train station. You could go there, see Buckingham Palace (say you went into London) and be back at Gatwick in 2 hours. There’s a Gatwick Express train every 15 minutes.

JoJo, I know that you are not well traveled, but what happened to you in the London airport is pretty typical for a lot of travelers in Europe. They take security very seriously and they will triple check you to make sure that the flights are safe. I’ve traveled a lot and this happens everywhere. You weren’t singled out because of your camera but the camera did catch their eye because you could be a security risk. You have to be mindful of this when you travel internationally.
The saying “there’s no place like home”, is so true when you have been away for a while❤. Such a great series! I loved every single one of them.👏. I look forward to the new adventures that are waiting for you! “Airport Jete”….😂😂😂😂

My trip was to Europe was to celebrate my 60th birthday and I got the upgrade for $100. I was shocked by the flight crew as they were very professional and attentive. Everything you said about Norse was so true and it made me think back to my trip. I will like and subscribe.
Just a thought, Jojo, but if you don't have business cards, you should get some. When security officials want to know what you are doing while you film, it helps a bit. Also, it may drive more traffic .
I travel with a run and gun cinema rig (BMPCC6K) and had that happen to me in Rome at the Roman Forum entrance. Take it back to the room and use Iphone. Get inside and see some lady with same set up. I should have went to another entrance. It all depends on the security person and mood that day.

Thank you for sharing your trip here. So, with starting out from Paris, France that early in the morning was very early!! Well, you guys flew on EasyJet Airline to Gatwick Airport. I thought at first you two were flying to Heathrow International Airport. EasyJet is like our Frontier or Soutwest Airlines being low cost there in Europe.
So, we're you two able to find the Airport Lounges that Norse Airlines has or shares with another airline? You two had a lot of time to enjoy an airline lounge. And many of the airline lounges have bed/laying down areas to go to. And food and drinks in many lounges are very good. Finally, you two could not sit together from your reservation?
I realize you were at CDG when you said it, but "quick and efficient" are the absolute last words on the planet that I would use to describe security (or anything else) at any London airport.
Did y’all fly out of Orly or CDG at Paris?? Gatwick!! Spent way to much time there out of my life (lots of connections and work trips to UK!!). I was yelling, “No!” about going outside to get “fresh” air. BUT the air is better at Gatwick than Heathrow (less built up area around Gatwick…if I remember correclty). A Full English Breakfast is fantastic!! Y’all should have gone for that 🙃 43-inches!!! Legroom!!! the 19” width is normal for that cabin style…but 43” pitch is phenomenal!!! The leg rests are always great to have!! Dreamliners aren’t too old, compared to other long-haul planes…and I am with you, JoJo, on enjoying the tinted windows rather than pulldown shades (can still look out the window). I’m also with you buddy on enjoying Premium Economy over Business Class…strange, but I enjoy it more than the cubicles around the business seats. But have only gotten to experience that on American and British Airways.

Thank you for the review. In future reviews, can you possibly show what your seat looks like when the person in front on you reclines their seat all the way. This usually ruins my flight, when the passenger in front of me reclines their seat all the way, into my space, even before we take off, and then when they are eating, or going to the bathroom, they leave their seat reclined all the way. I feel I also pay the same fee for my seat, so keeping other passengers in mind will be a great idea. So even though it is nice to see how far my seat reclines, it would be great to see how far the passenger in front of me reclines as well. Thanks for your awesome videos. London has had many different tourist attacks through the years so they have to be careful plus even if you leave your bag somewhere just for a few seconds such as I was going downstairs in a train station and I can only carry one bag at a time and the kind got after me. I said it was my bag and I was only about 15 steps above it because I could only carry one at a time.

Wow you two are the bomb. One time when you two can travel again, go to Spain. Barcelona Madrid Benidorm, Alicante , Jerez, The Canary Islands. Palma de Majorca. One place more interesting than the last. The food is knocked out, the wine terrific and the cognac. 103 Jerez absolutely stunning. Y’all will be happy to visit. Security concerns there from the airport security’s perspective regarding your camera drawing attention. If I were in your shoes, I would have shown them your TH-cam channel when they inquired about your camera.
UK airport security are nothing compared to us…every time I’ve flown in to the us the security are so jumped up & the most unfriendliest & unwelcoming that I’ve ever experienced…I always thought if I was friendly & over smiled I’ll win any one over but the is not the case if you fly in to the us…I hardly look look like a threat but yet every time it’s an nervous experience
Question about your 'carryon' bag - not the underseat 'personal item'... was your carry bag weighed? the Norse website says the carryon has a weight limit of 22lbs. Do they weigh that bag at the gate? If so, did you pay a fee if its over the weight limit? I will be traveling from Orlando to and from Gatwick in two weeks.
You're in Paris and waiting for Starbucks to open? *le sigh* Norse purchased the Dreamliner fleet from Norwegian who scrapped their long haul flights during Covid. Not a bad product...great legroom and recline. Did they charge for hard liquor in Premium like Norwegian?...that was a minus for me, when it's free on other carriers' Economy.
