- USA Baby! It's a Florida travel day as I catch an Aer Lingus Business Class flight from Manchester to Orlando and review the offering compared to the Aer Lingus Economy experience we had just a few weeks ago!

Our day begins at Manchester Airport inside the 1903 Lounge before boarding the A330-300 'St Patrick' Aer Lingus plane straight to Orlando as well as hopping into Walt Disney World to tick off the two rollercoasters left for me to ride at the resort.

Agree with Aer Lingus, I flew business with them last year - I had the best possible crew I’ve ever flew with to date
Miles better than Virgin’s Upper Class for me, I’d only do Upper Class again if I got to check out their London lounge because on board it’s 3 times the price as this flight and feels like a lesser product
Travelling to New York in October with Aer Lingus & I’m booked in seat 3K, can’t wait !!

I have not flown cattle class in decades. And I never ever will do so again, unless it's only a one or two hour flight. But long haul? No way! Only business or first.
With a condition I have I always have to have a good sleep or at least try to in order to feel okay so being relaxed etc is very important. Long haul I’ll always try to go business or any class that has a lie down bed for sure! Aha

5 mins for ROTR - lucky lucky you! And agreed, the re-skinning of rock n roll coaster at Paris is awful. Not to mention the cars are super uncomfortable.

With me having my movie site there was not much on the plane that I hadn’t seen already so I just ended up checking it out and crossing it off the list! Didn’t like the musical angle but it wasn’t terrible, it’ll never beat the original though!

It really was, I suffer from a few conditions + chronic fatigue so if I'm not well rested it can really make me unwell especially on long haul flights so I have to get some sleep, it wasn't too bad last trip in economy but I certainly felt it when I arrived so thought it best to get some rest this time around so I don't feel entirely crappy the whole time there!

Business class looked excellent, we’ve done it with British Airways before and that was a special experience. Might ask AL for a free upgrade when we go 😂

Hope you have a great time Florida mate. Question for you, as I'm desperate to get out that but also hate heights/flying, any tips on how to get through the flight? I struggled with a 40 min flight earlier this year 😂
If I have a distraction like a camera to look at etc it’s so much easier but with flights I pull the blinds down and focus on the screens whether on the back of my chair or my phone or laptop. Helps a tonne!

The full total of the return flight was £1423 (including taxes etc) but I’m afraid I can’t remember how much BC was on its own but it was less than £1k for sure
@@LiftHillsandThrills that’s actually not as horrific as I was expecting tbh and wouldn’t have thought to look at Aer Lingus either as a first choice but will now I think 👍🏻
@@markgawne5919Me either mate and after an airport power cut our luggage got left behind and they were nothing short of horrendous in communicating with us to get it back. Decided to try them again as I heard their business offering was better than Virgin’s which I found hard to believe but after experiencing it, it absolutely wipes the floor with Virgin’s Upper Class for a fraction of the cost!

Oh wow they finally putted wifi on business class on aer lingus to orlando they didn't have it the last I was on it
They have it in Economy too but it's charged whereas it's included in Business Class, it was very very slow but more than enough for WhatsApp messages etc just nothing too taxing. It took 20 mins for my emails to all load up... not fun aha
After getting back from holiday on an Easyjet, those first class seats put it to shame 😂

WDW was dead yesterday most rides on 20-30 min queues so I’d say it’s a sweet spot currently but not sure if it’s a seasonal sweet spot if that makes sense! I wanted to head out early as I’ve got a busy Sept / Oct ahead!
