Talking to an NPC, talking to them again, and then again, and then getting 1 item and killing someone is not Metroidvania at all whatsoever, and it's horrible quest design. There's no nuance or creativity to it. The dialogue is always bland, the questline makes barely any sense, and it always ends on a stupid note where you just end up laughing. Fromsoft almost never designs good quests. The few that they have come from Bloodborne.
