I subscribed your channel a few months back, and I want to extend my sincere appreciation for all your work and generosity. Thank you so much! Really appreciate your humility and expertise. Wishing you guys all the best for 2024!
I’ve really been enjoying your guys channel! I found it early 2023 and have regularly listened to your videos. I like that you guys give good reasonings behind why you like a company, you look at the balance sheet, and never tell anyone to buy a stock unless you do your own research. It’s refreshing to find a channel that goes into details instead of blindingly pushing people to buy stocks cause you swear “they’re gonna shoot up”
I'm just buying company stock Texas Instruments and it has been performing well, looking forward to buying Airbnb stocks this year after your analysis on the business porspect. Great video 👍
Got to like crocs and Onon after they sold off due to Nike. You got to wonder though if you get an even better price entry in the next 3 months after this historic run up. Cash seems like a decent place to be right now. Happy New Year to the both of you. I’ve enjoyed watching this channel over the past year
Thanks so much @bigmountain19 we've enjoyed having you here and your comments and input! Hope we all have a great '24! As for the shoe cos, it's a good point. Could be done volatility early in the year. Cash is always good to have on hand!
as someone who has been tortured by Ansys software in graduate school, my heart sank when I heard Synopsys is interested in buying Ansys.....Synopsys under new CEO next year will definitely be interesting
@hellokvitty lol please share your bad experiences! Is the Ansys user experience severely lacking? We know the software is crazy complex... New CEO transitions are interesting to watch. Sometimes indicative of some bumpiness ahead, sometimes little more than a blip on the radar. Hopefully the latter for SNPS!
Great video, love the ONON pick. Bought a pair recently and absolutely love them. As Peter Lynch said, "Buy what you know". I know they have a great product and will be successful. Would like to throw out a request for chip discussion. With AI not a bubble, which companies will be the leaders in chiplet design and architecture, and which companies will be leaders in the power solutions needed for GenAI
Hi @geordiehawkins7372, thanks for the watch! We've discussed chiplets quite a bit in the context of the semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies, as well as TSMC, those are our primary picks for that architecture! Lot's of misunderstanding out there as to who will "win" in chiplet design. As for power solutions, it's going to be highly disaggregated amongst the IDMs, but MPWR could also be a top one. We've covered those not too long ago as well!
@@chipstockinvestor Have a small position in MPWR, looking to DCA more. Love that they have no debt, pay a dividend and are very diversified. Great insight, thanks
Thanks for the info! Will look into some stocks from the video, btw Tesla and Apple are also worth considering. Also, how about space stocks? Space exploration is a promising market.
Hi Vivek, we still have our AAPL and TSLA positions! We talk about space every once in a while. We like chips, they power the space economy, and they're profitable!
AMZN also starts a new income stream on Jan 29th when ads are added to Amazon prime videos. It'll be interesting to see if their AI investments increase AWS cloud usage. As usual great stock analysis. Looking forward to video on ALTM. Thanks
Great stuff and thanks for sharing! My 7 non-chip stocks for 2024 are TSLA, GOOG, TGT, DIS, PLTR, SOFI, and LAZR. And I tend to hold them (trade around slowly, but keep the core) for at least 5 years as I did for TSLA, NVDA and many other big winners.
Berkshire, Waste Management, Ecolab- these are some of Bill Gates’ biggest holdings. I figured he doesn’t like losing money, so why not? Adding to my Amazon position and just bought Visa.
Awesome stock picks. I agree with AMZN, BKNG, ABNB, CRM. Will look into FOUR, with Europe expansion sounds interesting. I also liked your chip stock picks QCOM, NVDA, TSM, MCHP. As for myself, looking more into growth stocks like MELI, SHOP, CRWD, PLTR, SNOW, CELH, NFLX, SOFI, ACMR. Will see in January which ones drop in price XD
If someone copycats your portfolio or anything it's their fault and shame, not yours. I just sold my last chip stock, SAMSUNG with huge gains but I'm looking to buy AVGO back when it dips.
Hey @TJR82 thanks for all the support! We just wanted to give a little reminder for everyone to DYODD 😉. Congrats on the successful '23, here's to an even better '24!
Nick has, it's a great business! Probably going to be more than fine after all the talk of price wars this past summer/autumn. Just saw FOUR as an especially good looking deal for us.
Thanks for the video. There's a TH-camr I like who covers consumer issues and right-to-repair, who claims the quality of products from Amazon has gone way down. He backed it up by testing electrical crimps from Amazon. That's anecdotal, so I'm not selling my AWS stock, but I'll be watching their Net Promoter Score. Customer Guru says "Last known Net Promoter Score is 25", which is good, because "The industry average for Consumer Brands / Internet is 19.". Customer Gauge says Amazon's NPS score was 73 in 2019 (sourced from Satmetrix). That's a big drop but I don't know if the figures are like-for-like. I want to have a stake in the main cloud companies so it's a bit of a problem for me.
Hey Riffs, totally get it. Amazon is a mixed bag for us too! Certainly not our favorite e-comm. And the customer service has indeed fallen. Definitely worth monitoring for sure!
Will most likely add to Amazon (it is a full sized position but Amazon is just too strong to ignore). Crocs is full sized and will stay like this, Livent may be a candidate to add to. My first picks for 2024 are Global Payments and Infineon. Both positions are almost finished but there is still some space left
Certainly an interesting list. What happened to some of the cyber security stocks like crowdstrike and palo alto that you guys discussed in your previous videos? Not good enough to be on the list? Personally im holding crox, livent, sofi and alibaba going into 2024.
Great question. After the recent run-up in cyber stocks, we're taking a pause at the start of the year, much like some of the chip manufacturing equipment cos. We'll have more to say about this later in the month. Thanks for asking!
#1: AMD: MI300X AI GPU should bring lot of revenue in 2024. #2: INTC: Very undervalued given the FAB potential + new Xeon CPUs with built in AI accelerators. Gaudi3 in 2024 for AI training. #3: PLAB : Turnaround story, with Chip Sector recovery. Very low valuation.
@@chipstockinvestor AMD is doing with , Nvidia, with Chiplets architecture in GPUs, like it did with Intel with CPUs. By the time Nvidia tries to catchup with a new Chiplets type architecture release, AMD would eat away it's market share. AMD is still very undervalued

Two stocks I feel are too good to pass on are ICAD and the second is LLAP. My 3 must buys for 2024 are boring and probably nobody will agree with, CSCO, SMCI, and INTC. Cisco and Intel are cooking and lid is about to blow!! SMCI is where you basically get an ETF with very little shares to create earnings for, so a lot bang makes a BOOM!! I'm not into shoes or crocs, but Beazer Homes (BZH) is a home builder stock I love!! I like Amprius Technologies, Inc. (AMPX), when you mention lithioim! Gold/Silver, (EXK), EV, Green Power (GP) is my pick.
