Hi there, I've play tested these strings for almost a week on my Gravity Pro and I agree with you on using these strings for a hybrid set up. I think the first hour of these strings amazing, great control, great pocketing, you get that good power but still having that control thanks to the poly coating, great snapback as mentioned in the video providing great amount of spins. After the first few hours, the tension started to get a little weird and the ball starting to fly out like other multifilament I've played with, it can possibly be because of the Gravity Pro could be too demanding but I am not sure. It is definitely still better control than other multi like NRG2 and Velocity that I've played with. About the Lynx Tour hybrid with these, Dennis Fabian also said on a podcast and I totally agree that the Lynx Tour would go really well with this. Even though the Lynx Tour is a stiff shaped poly which can saw through this, I think these two makes a good combo adding a little stiffness to these powerful strings.
Great review, and it inspired me to try the new string. Any feedback on durability yet? Initially I really liked the Lynx Touch in my Head Radical Pro 2019 (98 sq. inch) at 49 lbs full bed, and it allowed nice comfort, ball pocketing, touch shots, some feel and power, but less spin. What do you think about a hybrid setup of Lynx Edge (hex shaped mono poly) in mains and Lynx Touch in cross at 49lbs (22.2kg), to try to increase spin while keeping some comfort and touch/feel? Would your suggested tension be different for the main and cross strings (either in a full bed or hybrid)? And what about using this string in a 105 sq. inch racquet (like a Head Instinct PWR 2019 which I use as an "injury racquet" either in a full bed or hybrid)? Maybe Luxilon LXN Smart string is a competitor (both use multi-density poly core layering)? Keep up the great reviews, and wow your rally ball depth and spin is improving!
Hi! Thank you! I never played enough to see how the durability was exactly but from what I could tell it was about average. I would definitely suggest a hybrid, either with Lynx Edge as you mentioned or even Lynx Tour. Would be great to create a blend of the best of both worlds. The tension is up to you. Either you do mains and crosses the same or you can increase the mains or decrease the crosses (or meet halfway by doing both). This will in general create room for the string to slide and move. It is personal if that's something that feels and plays good for you.
Very informative, thank you! I’m looking forward to trying this new string from HEAD! Does it work well in full bed, or do you think it’s better as a cross for hybrid with a shaped main string?
Thanks! I have only tested it in a full bed. If you like round profiled strings it could be great as a full bed. I enjoy more shaped strings so I would likely prefer it as a cross in a hybrid setup.
I am reviewing your video, do you think lync touch on mains with head velocity (or other multifilament) could be a good combination for an hybrid?. Thanks
+Tennisrally Is that string transparent? Hard to tell on camera... I'm demoing a speed midplus right now and its strung with a really cool looking transparent string I wonder if its this.
@@Tennisrally_ Does it mostly look transparent if you look at it from further away? If I look very closely I can see streaks of black inside the string but by far mostly just clear/transparent
The Hawk touch is supposed to be less stiff and therefore giving more power. It sound like you string it to tight, try to go a bit lower (at least 1kg)

Excellent! Thank you for this review, very helpful information 🙏🎾
Curious to hear your thoughts on the poly hybrid review when ready. I use the Lynx 17g in my gravity pro. Thank you
Could you make a video of your racket customization?
You mean show in a video how I do my customization? I could definitely make that happen if the request is high
@@Tennisrally_ Yes!

i think you made an error in your description. I think you meant to say Head Lynx Touch, but it says Head Lynx Tour on it :)
I'm looking to try out this string soon. Are you able to compare this to the Solinco Hyper G Soft 17L?
Unfortunately not, haven’t tried Hyper G soft and I am out of Lynx Touch for now
Hi, did you try 1.30 or 1.25 gauge? , which is best in a full bed in your opinion?. Thanks
I played with the 1.25 mm gauge, I always recommend playing with 1.25 mm unless you are a huge string breaker
I am reviewing your video, do you think lync touch on mains with head velocity (or other multifilament) could be a good combination for an hybrid?. Thanks
Definitely think it will work, for me personally I would use a normal polyester in a hybrid with a multifilament to get the best of both worlds
+Tennisrally Is that string transparent? Hard to tell on camera... I'm demoing a speed midplus right now and its strung with a really cool looking transparent string I wonder if its this.
The string consists of two cores, the inner one is back and the outer one is transparent.
@@Tennisrally_ Does it mostly look transparent if you look at it from further away? If I look very closely I can see streaks of black inside the string but by far mostly just clear/transparent
I kind of looks like a plastic grey colour
@@Tennisrally_ Thank you definitely different string then
I'm using head hawk touch in my Radical MP. I'm really not liking it. It feels stiff and powerless. Should i try any thin strings for more power?

you from austria
Hey! No, I am from Sweden
