I don't care what people say about fire emblem, it has the same appeal as a pokemon nuzzlock with the adventurous story of old lands long gone of magic dragons and shapeshifters. I thank smash brothers for being my introduction to such a wonderful franchise

I knew there was something holy when I first heard this song in Brawl. And now, I am playing Fire Emblem Awakening for the first time ever.
My personal favourite is Blazing Blade in all its semplicity and, after that, maybe Path of Radiance
Such a great game. My most played 3ds game. I think I did everything possible in awakening.
Yesssssss I got into fire emblem like 5 years ago, and awakening is still one of the most memorable and one of my favorites even after playing most of the series so far. I also love Blazing Blade, Sacred Stones, Three Houses, and GOTHW though! I haven’t played either of the radiant games with ike so I’ll have to play them next.

I started with a Sacred Stones Rom Hack, then I played Engage and now I'm doing a Golden Deer run in 3 Houses.
My first partner who I loved ever so dearly had introduced me to Fire Emblem. Ever since then I got hooked into the music. This music makes me feel like I could accomplish anything, everything.

Having finally succumbed to my curiosity and playing Three Houses after having mained Ike since Brawl, I can now safely say Fire Emblem is among my favorite gaming franchises in the world. I can only call myself a fool for not having tried it sooner.

@@thomaskopv2366 that's very VERY subjective it's honestly better to look at games that are good starting point like three houses,awakening,fire emblem the blazing blade or just known as fire emblem in the west,fire emblem the sacred stone and path of radiance it's also worth saying nintendo has made it very difficult to get most of the early games so if you don't want to sell your arm,leg,kidney,liver and the souls of your children use emulaion not to mention the first 6 games are Japanese exclusive.

Fire emblem has to be one of the most underrated Nintendo series ever. Most of my friends who play Nintendo games have never heard abt fire emblem before.
This version sounds a lot better and more beautiful than the other theme version in Melee!! I can imagine being part of the royal kingdom while listening to this beautiful song!!

I've been listening to soundtracks of games I never played. What I can say is that I am amazed! This just gives me chills, it's an absolute masterpiece. I can't imagine what it does to the people who are emotional connected to the franchise.
It's a shame that not too many Americans know what Fire Emblem is.

this particular one isn't - its in latin and has been translaed (mostly accurately). However there was a commercial in japanese that was indeed a tutorial of how to play it

Not to dizz Awakening and the rest of the newer FE games going forward.
But to me this song is how I feel the older FE games were having a sense of class and elegance in the world that is FE.
Which for a game series at that point was only made for the japanese gamer had a push for a more western art style that seemed to wanted to replicate those of European Renaissance Art yet never reach that potential due to the limits of the hardware of our times and during the Smash Brawl days was hoping that future games would continue to be...
Awakening was very close to that feel yet not close enough to the older games, plus the true peek of the classical western art style was done with Path of Radiance.
This is why I main ike. For the epic theme that plays after winning a match.
