IMO, the greatest djent track ever written. Just a spectacular, peerless, genre-defining display of awesomeness. The second version with vocals doesn't even come close.
This is the best version of this song and it’s still so under appreciated. The kind of originality and complexity created from such a small selection of notes is hard to find nowadays.
+Aditya I prefer this version too, it's just so much more punchier and rhythmic. But I feel like those clean vocals on the Masstaden version just really add something special too.
We're very blessed to still have access to not only this version but also as an instrumental so we're forced to confront all the little complexities. New version...it's kind like the way Sumerian Records ruins a good composition by polishing it too much. Digital effects, record labels make me think I'm listening to a computer play the instrument.
This version compared to the album version is exactly like periphery's The Walk 2.0 vs the album version. Album version is, without a doubt, utter shit compared to TH-cam version.
This song will and forever hold my absolute attention and obsession. Ten years later and I still love it.
Yup same!
same
Absolutely
Wish they put this on the album instead!
It slams as hard as ever in 2021

2023 I'm still blasting and I don't even djent anymore
Helicopter Song
This song is like an anti matter bomb exploded and they captured the energy and converted it to pure Thall
This is the best version of this song and it’s still so under appreciated. The kind of originality and complexity created from such a small selection of notes is hard to find nowadays.
Any day better than the final album version!
+Aditya I prefer this version too, it's just so much more punchier and rhythmic. But I feel like those clean vocals on the Masstaden version just really add something special too.
Re-liked the Comment. still holds true a year later
They took this song, chopped it into pieces and spread them over their album. This song is so packed and full with variation, just ginormous!
This version kicks ass. The other sounds like a cheap rip-off
100% agree. I’ll always prefer this version over the Måsstaden version.
I love how they've come so far, defining an entire movement of music and their first release still blows all imitators out the window
I was there, Gandalf. I was there 15 years ago on mypsace. I was there the day the strength of Modern djent boyz failed into Tha Thall
Why is no one talking about 4:24?! Shit has me punching through concrete walls!
I'd even say the passage before starting at 4:11
Gives me Stoort Neer vibes somehow
This is Meshuggah on PCP
Idk why but the vibe this song gives off is like 100 times better than the original
This is the original version lol and yes it's way better
@@MattFerreira-cg8tl Imagine if it kept this structure and got the production quality of the 2022 remaster!
+AAA progressive groovy evilness. 10/would smoke again.
A classic I use to work out to this gem 💪
This is the best version of the song IMHO
I want to hear the vocals on this version. The tone 😩
Yes I am back and will keep coming back =)
They were so good as an instrumental band!
1:48 is still the best djent moment
+SkidaRu and 4:24
0:13
Djent Compilations idk man eternal golden monk's verse and bridge from 1:44 might be more tight than this
Always has been
@@usedport100s EGM is so fucking brutal
Jesus Christ, it’s like meshuggah on steroids
Goddam I love the parts where the guitar fades back in, it makes my whole car vibrate with thallness
WWE debut song. Crushing whoever the fuck is champion.
When someone asks me 'what is djent?'
And when I want to mind mosh
*thall
I love all 3 versions but something about this version hits different.
We're very blessed to still have access to not only this version but also as an instrumental so we're forced to confront all the little complexities.
New version...it's kind like the way Sumerian Records ruins a good composition by polishing it too much. Digital effects, record labels make me think I'm listening to a computer play the instrument.
Same thing happened to Being with their "EP" Anthropocene. Arrival was perfect the way it was.
These dudes are incredible. Wow.
Tops the final version anyday.
1:46 gets me every fuckin time
2:15 gives me chills right before the drop 🔥🔥🔥
2:15 This part gives me some Aphex Twin vibes.
The djenesis of djent
Not even close.
@@hogosbazvarakh9220 oh, c'mon! He had a great comment, dude
4:24
Chills @ 4:30!
Djentastic.
Thall
365493049 out of 10 song!!!
I rinsed this ep so much back in the day! Way better than their album work IMO
3:37 holy shit.
Det thall kan vara det bästa thall finns
Grym Svenska!
This version without the vocals is way better than the newer version they made.
Master piece
I can vouch for 1000 listens
Stillll
Özge Çekçen THALL !
Djentlemen..
Djent at its best!
I like this much more than Periphery
Upper echelon riff game.
This isn't on the Omnislash single pack
ukm was awesome
Tatman army?
short comments only
I just came
0:08 0:53 Helicopter, helicopter, still thall though
Why isn’t this on iTunes?
funny how the riff at 1:48 is now used in All These Feelings from masstaden :P
Marlon Palm it's still the riff used in traces on masstaden. Same time stamp even.
4:24 going full Veil of Maya there HUH
It's the other way around BRUH
Yeh man you’ve got no clue who came first, the chicken or the egg
Whenever I feel like "getting into the zone" on Apex Legends or Black Ops 4, this or Anatomy by Devil Wears Prada is my go-to lol
I STILL MEAN MUG SLAM THIS A DECADE LATER

The official album version sounds SO bad compared to this.
i found this generic, then i heard dagger
