This is the most astonishing piece of work I've ever heard from a metal band. Many have come close, but this band, holy shit they are on a different level when it comes to delivery and overall vibe.
Vildhjarta was Activ for a pretty long time, and had a bunch of Tracks up, all instrumental, till the 2 singers arrived, and then they changed some things here and there. Multiple songs are pretty changed up on the album.

you could check out ForTiori, his music is just as atmospheric and also kind of dark. Nemertines have a different style but a sinister atmosphere as well. And there's a Russian band called "The Korea", check out their song "Chaos Theory".

The one with vocals is the one from the album. The riff at 1:40 in this version is preserved in the album version.
every track of meshuggah sounds the same to me :x thats why i dont like them as much. its not bad music its just too repetetive for me to listen to it.
