So I made this entire video in the span of a month. It was a long and crazy journey, but here we are.
I want to thank a few people that gave me some support and feedback during the process of making this video: Nikki, Kuro, Nathanial Bandy, Shadow Streak and MonstersReview all helped keep me sane on the long nights I spent working on this. Thank you guys so much.
As for everyone else, I really hope you enjoy this little experiment in expanding the series. SpongeBob Season 10 is estimated to come out in late September.

Slade's (well, Deathstroke) motivation on the comics is:
1-He is usually hired by someone else. Literally nothing personal.
2-The reason he hates the titans is because he blames them for the death of his son.
But in the show his motivation in the show , he wants to take robin away from batman,even though, I dunno why but Batman wasn't shown in the show

@@brucebanana4486 I think they’re talking about the apprentice episode where slade forces robin to join him he says at some point he even may become like a father to robin and robin replies with something along the lines of ‘I already have a father’ probably meaning Batman since I think bats fly across the screen after he says it also in the episode go we see robin fighting some criminals and I think they start to say something like ‘shouldn’t you be with…’ with robin saying he works alone now and is new in town

Absolutely fantastic video PIEGUY. Teen Titans has been one of my favorite childhood series too, and I loved the format in which it was reviewed. Can't wait for season two :)

@@beta511ee4 I just thought this is the rating direction that PieGuy is going for for his future every episode of reviews. Besides, think of the great rating as the seal of approval.
Probably wouldn't be a good idea for Fairly Oddparents or Danny Phantom just because of what's been going on with Butch Hartman. But the rest yeah would love to see them.
Fairly OddParents would be perfect since it's Nickelodeon's other long-running series. Plus, it had so many classic episodes in its early days just like SpongeBob. I always preferred FOP over SpongeBob.
@@RyanStorey1231 Plus, FOP fan debate when the show got bad and went downhill, just like Spongebob. To me, i noticed a decline in season 6 as the show got more loud, more hyper, starting having forced dialog, the humor started to rely on repetitive running gags that repeat themselves and get shoved down your throat, and it started to have elements of squash and stretch which as never included in the first 5 seasons, feeling weird and out of place as it's something you'd see in shows like Ren and Stimpy and Rockos Modern Life. And season 7 was when I felt the show overstayed its welcome. So, i stopped watching the show for good on how loud, hyper, annoying, repetitive, and mean spirited it has become and I never saw another episode again, I ended up outgrowing it, and gained a personal grudge against it based on how it overstayed it welcome and going on for too long. It went from being a really good show to being one of those shows I can't stand and tolerate anymore.
My heart raced I thought this was gonna be season 10 well this is good too

Universe recently covered Teen Titans season 1 over the past few weeks, but I really feel like you put your own spin on it and gave a different perspective! Forces Of Nature is bad? Aw, it’s actually my favorite episode from the season. Oh well.
One thing I didn’t like about this video was that it revealed how each episode compared to the rest way too early, which meant we had a rough idea of how many great episodes they were. It wouldn’t been better if you only listed the episodes worst to best at the end. Overall, really solid video and it will definitely keep me going until the season 10 video next month, which I’m really excited for.
While I‘m not a fan of Teen Titans, I‘ll still watch this whole video, not only to get a better overview on why this show is so loved by many, but also because your ratings system and review style (slide layouts and all) are very entertaining.

as much as i've been waiting for a new SpongeBob video out of you, i have to admit that this is a refreshing change of pace, PieGuy, and i respect everything you do and you help inspire me as a creator with a few chuckles along the way, so Teen Titans was a good choice

As a guy who's been in a wheelchair all my life I agree "The Sum Of His Parts" is a great episode with a brilliant message.
My Ranking and thoughts on Season 1
Note: I am partially ranking this partially based on how close these episodes were to my childhood.
13.Deep Six - Half the episode goes by before Aqualad introduces himself so I find it boring.-Bad
12.Forces of Nature-I actually felt there was good character development among Thunder and Lightning but I also feel it is a bit boring.-Okay
11.Final Exam-Good fights but too much of it and little plot but I felt Gizmo is HILARIOUS.-Okay
10.Car Trouble-What you said but I also feel Gizmo is HILARIOUS.-Good
9. Divide and Conquer-Lots of fighting, little plot and plot holes but good animation and Character development.-Good
8. Switched-The plot is unoriginal but I felt it was executed in a fun way it just needed more details.-Good
7. Apprentice Part I- I just find it a little bit odd how much different the plot is from Part II but I like it. -Good
6. Masks- I feel like it was pushing the line early on but again I like it. -Good
5. Apprentice Part II- A rip-off of Masks but darker and better. -Good
4. Sisters- Full of heart.- Great
3.The Sum of His Parts- An episode where for once you can see both sides that are not necessarily bad and the side that is in the wrong is taught a lesson along with my love for Mumbo. -Great
2. Mad Mod / Detention- SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! -Great
1. Nevermore- How to make a character be the center without focus on it in 22 minutes. -Great
Story Ark Analysis: I personally liked it I just wish it was connected better.-Good, 3/5 on my story arc ranking.
Final Verdict: This over all a good season with a good story arc but has some episodes outside of the story arc which I think are better than the story arc.-Good Season, 3/5 on my season ranking.
Ripoff? I think it's kinda unfair to criticize episodes for that in a show with an ongoing arc.

Nice! I've seen the first four seasons of this show. This will work as a great recap before getting back into it one day. Honestly really agreed with your views on all the episodes, except I would have given Nevermore even more love.

Hey, love the video! I think these types are my favorite on your channel. Only thing I didnt like as much with this one is how you display the ranking of episodes before the ending wrap-up segment. But that is a minor issue considering all the reviews and info on episodes are as in-depth as previous season review videos
I think the issue in forces of nature is more that with BB’s prank, He is unwilling to apologize to the unwitting victim. The prank was not meant for Starfire and thus could have hurt her (given her vastly different body structure and size from Cyborg). Despite this, he avoids giving an apology and tries to laugh it off, making him seem like an uncaring ass.
Oh! I would love you to do more! I can't wait to see you take on the other seasons of Teen Titans! Could you do Drake and Josh or Fairy Odd Parents as well? I'd love to see your opinions on all of them!

Love the format of this! Slade is by-far my favorite part of the entire series. The way he acts so brutal and how far he goes in his plans is just very unsettling, and his interactions with Robin just put that higher.

No, he said this only took him a month. He wanted to not work on Season 10 a while so that he could spread out the reviews better so we wouldn’t have to wait as long for the next season since he’s catching up to the current episodes.
Oh new video, cool. Wait.... it's a freaking every episode of Teen Titans season 1 reviewed? Hell yeah! Teen Titans (original) is in my top 3 favorite cartoon series! Just so good. (In my opinion anyway). This is before I watch the video but I'll be curious with how you rank the episodes.

You are a lot nicer to most of these episodes than I was when I watched them. Of course the 3 "real" Slade episodes are great, and I enjoy switched and fractured (not enough to call them great, but they're good), but you have much higher opinions of Sisters and Sum of His Parts (personally I thought Only Human was done better, so I'm interesting in seeing your take.)
I'm mostly just surprised to see a great season already, especially because in my rewatch I found season 1 to be significantly worse than seasons 2-4, so I'm excited to see if you agree or if you actually enjoy this season more than the later ones.
Dang it, I REALLY want to watch this video, but I still haven't watched season one myself. Teen Titans is one of those shows I wouldn't change the channel on when I ended up on it, and I enjoyed it for what it was, but never went out of my way to watch it because I was never into superheroes as a kid. I've been getting into them lately, but I wasn't going to watch Teen Titans until I was caught up on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and at the moment I'm only up to The Avengers. One thing at a time, you know?
I think I can get a hold of season one in a week, but I guess I can't watch this one until then, unfortunately. I'm definitely glad you decided to go forward with branching out with the every-episode format though, PieGuy! I wish you the best of success with this.

1:01:14 I believe that some of Slade's plans in Season 1 are meant to come to a head in the Season 2 finale; with the chips making the Cinderblock/Plasmus/Overload fusion to serve under him.

Good thinking Pieguy this is a way to calm the Teen Titans fans from backlash Teen Titans Go.
You do realized that you now have to watch every episode of Teen Titans Go, right? Whether you like it or not, people are now going to beg you to do it. ;)
I think there is a bigger chance people beg him for Young Justice rather than Teen Titans, since it shares a similar premise (young superhero team based on the Teen Titans comics) and Robin, Kid Flash, Beast Boy and Slade/Deathstroke appear, although the last two have small roles.
Who are going to beg for Teen Titans Go? If there are people there won't be that many.
+Cande Excalante There actually are a couple of Young Justice books from the late 90s and early 2000s. Not too many people remember them very well due to the roster starring some lower-tier B-List sidekick characters (and also Tim Drake) compared to the bigger names in the Teen Titans books at the time, but they were still a thing.

Those books alsosold better than the Teen Titans book at the time. It was also one of the main inspirations of the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon, due to their heavy focus on comedy (which is kinda ironic considering how the 2011 show ended up taking itself very seriously).
Nice way to show what's Season 1 is about by the way since this season focuses on Robin and his obsession with Slade. I wonder if you'll continue this trend with the other season since every member of the Teen Titans has a season focusing them expect Starfire because for reason that I completely don't know they made one for Terra and it's literally Season 2!

I got through to Masks before I decided to pause the video and go rewatch the first season before coming back. And I'll probably preemptively do the second season as well while I'm at it, so I'm prepared for the next one of these.

I always thought that in final exam, slade possibly leaked the info to robin. Robin in turn told everyone to take a dive, to trick the hive. This in turn, lead them to thoroughly kicking their asses in the follow up battle. Otherwise, Beast boy forgot he could turn into a dinosaur the previous battle for no reason.

Watching how well the video was made and how well his points were in each episode discussion, it's a shame that he decided not to come back to review the rest of the show. I understand that it's his decision to make whatever videos he wants to make but I would still have loved to see him discuss the other four seasons in this same format.
