In 1930, after being strong-armed into helping two members of the Salieri family - Paulie and Sam - escape an ambush by the rival Morello family, impoverished taxi driver Thomas "Tommy" Angelo is assaulted by members of the Morello family in an act of revenge. While he is rescued by the Salieri family upon calling in a favor promised by Don Ennio Salieri, Tommy loses his job after his employers learn about his involvement with the Mafia. With a lack of job opportunities due to the ongoing Great Depression, Tommy is forced to accept Salieri's offer to join his organization, and soon befriends Paulie and Sam as they complete various jobs together. Tommy's work for the family earns him Salieri's respect, and he quickly rises through their ranks, eventually becoming a caporegime.
Over the following years, the Salieri and Morello families engage in an all-out war for control of Lost Heaven's criminal underworld, while Tommy starts a family and becomes disillusioned by the violent and decadent lifestyle he is now living. He begins going behind Salieri's back and directly opposing his orders, until Salieri eventually learns about this and puts a hit on him. With his former allies now against him, Tommy fears for his family's safety, and arranges for witness protection with Detective Norman in exchange for giving Norman the evidence and testimony needed to build a case against Salieri. The entire game is told as a flashback, as Tommy explains to Norman his rise to prominence and eventual fall within Salieri's organization.
As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to stitch together a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!

I have to admit I like this version of the ending better. When Tommy heard Vito say his name in the original he was shocked and taken by surprise but in this version Oh Man. He knows what's coming and there is no fear there. And the way Vito treats it. It's just so perfect.
I love how in this new version they show more of Tommy’s family. His connection with Sarah
Tommy died with no regrets. I absolutely love this remake.
"Don't let him suffer, boys. He's my buddy." That got me.....
Fun fact: $10.00 back in 1930 is worth $155.86 in our modern time.
Is it just me or did Salieri seem like a great boss? Dude was patient, didn't lose his shit when a job went sideways and almost always gave his guys a chance to fix their mistakes.
That scene with Sarah after the business at the farm was beautifully directed.

Sam even wearing a bowtie during the last mission, just like in the original. Beautiful.

I don’t know why but Ralph’s quoate “on day I’m gonna cut your break lines asshole” really sticks with me might be because it’s the only time I noticed he didn’t stutter
I usually despise remakes, but this is a bloody masterpiece. I was 17 when I played this game on Windows XP and now I'm 35. I enjoyed going down this memory lane immensely. Thank you very much for your efforts <3
That part when Vito's theme starts playing at the end. We all knew what time it was....
