You need a can of plastic primer/filler from same paint company that you use for the top coats. Plastic needs to be little bit warm before you apply primer , like warmed by the sun on a summer day. I would put another clear coat on the tank , it will give UV protection to the excellent new stickers, it also seals the edges. The contagion problem with making shiny new surfaces is the old surfaces right next to them... like headlamp brackets.

Should have used a paintless dent puller prior to painting. Just an observation.
