Well done on the health changes and nice to see you out on the 765, I've just gone through 2300 miles in the 6 months I've had mine and absolutely love it.
I’m glad you’re going the right way with the health Dave as when you get news like that from a doctor it’s time to take heed and listen to the professionals, When I had my hemorragic stroke in 2018 I was diagnosed as diabetic at the same time and the doctor advised me to make changes or I wouldn’t see my kids grow up. I’m now 13st after being 19.5st when I had the stroke and my diabetes is in remission as they call it and I’m off all diabetic medication now all with hard work and determination so keep it up Dave 👍🏻
Most of us over 50 could take a serious look at our diets., or the clothes that have mysteriously shrunk over the winter. It's accumulative. Looking forward to the Rte. 66 videos., and your narrative. 👍👍
Well done on the weight loss and the other health issue Dave, from experience it's much easier to put it on than lose it, especially when you're past 50! I look forward to seeing how you get on with the new additions to the stable 👍
Good to hear the health improvements Dave, I had similar issues so got fit during lock down. Unfortunately, arthiritis in my knees has slowed me down so I’ve dropped the alcohol and am losing weight, as I need new bike gear I’m hoping to go down a few sizes. Sorry to hear about the bikes, but I’m sure you’ll find worthy replacements👍.
Congrats on the weight loss and Body MoT. I love that 765 in the yellow, such a gorgeous machine. Selling bikes is par for the course... they come, they go. Am enjoying your pics from the Route 66 trip on Instagram... hope you are enjoying it as much as those pics suggest? 🙂 Summer was a tad disappointing this year hey.
When I was diagnosed with diabetes, I stopped eating sweets and cakes, cut down on potatoes and rice, took metforming and lost 2 stones in 3 months. Keep it up.
Morning Dave , fantastic news on the health front,,, you can tell from you voice and super upbeat mood that your in flying form so well done to you sir 🫡 really looking forward to see what new bikes land in your stable 👌 looks like your having a blast on route 66 , the vids on that are I’m sure are going to be amazing, Anywho catch ya soon 👌👍👏👏🙆♀️ Tony
Good work on loosing the timber Dave. I could do with a bit of the same myself! The bike second hand market is dropping here big time, so the sooner you sell the better. Safe journey to 66.
Good news with health update. I would love the VFR. Not sure what the market is like in Ireland, but the used bike market in the UK is really struggling, and there are bargains to be had.
It is good to catch the diabetes at the pre diabetic level. You're able to reverse that. I have ttpe 2. I started reading the carb count only on the nutritional information. My main meals 60 carbs max, and i aimed closer to 30. My snacks 0 to 30 carbs, and try to stay close to zero. Stopped drinking regualr soda, but keep the diet soda down too, and other substitute sugar drinks. Aftwr a month, i lost 30 pounds. My A1C dropped like crazy. Im down 55 lbs now, years later, and weigh my high school weight, where i was in great shape. Get some exercise. Low intesity workouts are fine. But, you need to do at least 90 minutes for effectiveness. Look up Zone 2 workouts. This also was a big one for my A1C. Good luck to you.
Well done on the health glad to hear you got on top of it, I had 3 strokes 5 years ago, and I’m not even 50 yet, what camera settings on the helmet camera is that the DJI action 5 pro? Keep the videos coming please Dave love them 👍👍
Cheers. I’ve got loads of vids on my camera settings and still use the same settings. Camera is Osmo Action 4. I won’t be buying the 5 until they sort out the bit rate problem.
I have this bike in red 765 RS 2024 for my first cat A bike i went from a benellie leonchino 125cc to this, and damn it worth every penny!!! I passed on the trident 660cc but untill i saw this bike in A1 moto, i had to invest and get it!
Glad you are feeling better, you do know if you go low carb or even keto , you don't need the meds? It's entirely up to you but I would suggest you look into it, all meds have side effects, statin drugs almost killed me.
Quick question - on one of your videos you mentioned some sort of ceramic coating you’d put on your 765RS. Any chance of a reminder if you get a spare minute? Thanks!
Voge 300 Rally has got to be handsdown the worst bike I've ever ridden, no brakes and I mean no brakes! and doesn't go around corners. Horrible don't waste your money

Glad to hear about the news ref health and also happy you are keeping the 765RS - thought for a terrible minute you were getting rid of it
Glad to hear that you are on the mend. Had a few stents fitted in August. Now on Beta blockers and statins. Feeling fine. Take it easy and ride safe 👍

@@Trevor_J_Neville wow well done Trevor. That’s a serious turnaround. 🙏
Congrats on the progress! I’m watching your video just hours before I go pick up my own yellow 765! Your videos have helped me make the decision.
Good luck. Incredible bike. 👌
Glad to hear your health is on the up Dave. 😊 Look forward to seeing how you get on with the Voge.

Cheers buddy. Can’t wait to start editing this bucket list trip.

Glad you passed the kidney stones! Those things are painful!
Low carb diet or even Keto, you won't need the drugs, look it up , congratulations on giving up the crap, it's not easy.

Good news on your health...don't think tablets are always the answer...stay safe and maintain a healthy lifestyle also mate...ride safe👍
I thought you were looking slim. Ahhhh the Irish roads 😢 I’ll have to get back over and ride in Eire. Stay well don’t work too hard. 😁

Oh boy, not the VFR800 2007. The main reason I subbed back then in the hopes you, indeed, would ride it more often. Sad times 😢
Yeah I know but I just didn’t ride it. Loved to look at it though. 😍

@thebingleywheeler This is a positive, upbeat, non-judgemental and friendly channel so doubt he'll attract the same negativity.
That's good on the Health side. But I would keep the VFR. You would regret I did. And BMW would go as am not a fan of those. I know each to there own.

@@arsssis yeah it’s made by a company called Auto Brite and it’s their ceramic hard coat. It’s brilliant 👌
Great sound quality on your videos. What setup do you use?
@@patrickfitzpatrick1600 thanks Patrick. Check out last weeks vid and it will tell you all. 👌
@@WheelieGoodTV Got it...thanks!!
Where can you buy a voge 300 in Ireland? I don't see them listed anywhere.
Hi James, there’s a place in Bangor called Davy’s bikes who import them. I’ve done no more than this at the moment as I’m crazy busy. 👌🏍️
Can you please let me know where do you mount stick for this side footage with Insta360
I sit on it. I can then push it in to collapse it down whenever on coming traffic is approaching.
@@WheelieGoodTV Thanks man! much appreciated!
Where have you got the VFR for sale Dave
Sold a fortnight ago mate. Sorry. 🙏
Good for you going for the Voge hope you don’t get the stick I got for my CF Moto 800 MT 😂
Don't get rid of the vfr😢
Get yourself a cheap mountain bike and go down the lanes on it twice a week, the weight will drop off : )
Voge 300 Rally has got to be handsdown the worst bike I've ever ridden, no brakes and I mean no brakes! and doesn't go around corners.

Advice taken. 👌
Keep away from Statins and the Jabs.
