Excellent video Dave of one of my favourite places! I've ridden the Healy Pass SO many times and never tire of the amazing scenery and the poignancy of the place. ( I rode it in attack mode once on my XR650R in Supermoto form...mmm, a tad scary! fortunately cooked brakes put a stop to it!). It's a road to savour and take too many photos of!. Another beautifully filmed episode Dave, what a fabulous country you live in. I've enjoyed all the series so far....even when you nearly ran out of fuel. However that restored my faith in the GS's instrumentation, I panic if mines showing less than 30 miles in the tank, let alone a couple of miles, and to prove it you then put 19+ litres in a 20 litre tank !! So you've put that one to bed.

I enjoyed your video and love motorcycles, but please investigate your knowledge of the "Famine " and the thousands of roads to nowhere built throughout Ireland, to make starving unfortunate Irish People work for their handouts from the British Colonialists.
Famine means No food, Ships of Meat, farm produce,Grains, millions of eggs, left the Ports daily for Britain during this Dreadful Period, and especially in Black 47.
We never recovered from it, and still make excuses not to face the facts.
