My favorite Commodore 64 game they tried to play (unsuccessfully) but was still funny as hell was The Winter Games episode. The ski jump where the skier crashed when he landed and just laid there still hurts my sides with laughter

The 3D froggers were a staple for me and my sister. I remember the level select for the first game being those sliced cubes, the lava level, omg and the bug one lol i always loved frogger 2 as well, froggys revenge i think? the ps1 one, loved playing those

I used to play Congo Bongo at Sam's Town in Las Vegas as a kid during the 80s for hours. PatmanQC has done a great retrospective on it here on YT. The arcade game has more levels and obviously waaaay better graphics. The motivation is that the gorilla sets your butt on fire while you were sleeping in your tent and now you want to get revenge.

The C64 graphics don't make it as clear as the arcade original, but the explorer is giving Bongo the Ape the old hot foot prank. The arcade game shows the reason for this is revenge for Bongo setting fire to your tent. Also, I used to play the Atari 2600 version of Frogger II: THREEEDEEP for hours! Obviously doesn't look as good as C64, but it plays the same!
Two of my favourite games for the commodore 64 were "Head Over Heels" and "One Man and his Droid". The best part of OMahD is the banging music. I really miss that game.
