    I don't think people realise how important honesty is. I don't care if your truth is mean, ugly or embarrassing. I do not care. As long it is the truth, I will have a high tolerance. But if you lie, oh- oh the tolerance ain't there at all.

    Almost teared up at the inclusion part.. so true, unfortunately I played my role as a loner too well in high school and college so no one bothered asking me to join them outside of assignments and group projects. Prolly thought I enjoyed being on my own. I have to fake some sorta extrovertism nowadays at work if I wanna be/feel included, which is really exhausting 😅 I don't want my past to repeat itself though, since it was a very dark place a lot of the times, so I guess I'll just have to endure the draining from casual social interactions. I wish I didn't have to, but that's life

      i can relate a lot to this. the past was really dark that I always remind myself to not go back there again even if people keep pushing me to be seclusive again. i guess i am growing and becoming a better version of my past self, i really wish i am.

    • @DerMichael

      I can relate to that so much. I guess I didn't like the particular events and people in the past, like going to the beach, so I declined many invitations, sometimes with excuses, sometimes without. After some years, I never got invited anymore, and it didn't really bother me most of the time because most of the time I wouldn't have gone anyways, but not being invited to anything feels bad on itself already, and I do like to be social once or twice a month.
      Now I'm actually happy I still got invited to a 10 years class reunion and I'm probably actually going there.

    This resonated to me deeper than I thought. The need to be understood. I always thought that "wanting to be understood" was such a high standard in finding a partner. One time, someone asked me what did I see in this girl that I liked and I said, "She knew all my ticks and cranks. She knew when to pat or punch me and how."
    They thought it wasn't "real love" but for me, it was such an important factor to make me feel comfortable in a person. And INTJs are never comfortable. Even to this day, this is what I was looking for in relationships, someone who will take their time to actually understand me or at least try.

    our social environment isn't for intj , school, work place, family, even hospital and library , all the places are for 'group' and 'need to collaborating with people" ,all the place makes intj uncomfortable expect the place they can truly being alone. So people always call intj weirdo/nerdy just because they're not into the majority or being so quiet so alone. But intj know what they truly need without joining people, they've stronger mindset with being alone and weaker with people by draining their energy. Intj know what place, what things is best for themselves without advices. They won't follow the flow, they follow their heart to seek the best and safe by their brain and lone power.

    I dont think INTJ need encouragement tbh bcos they r drivien by Ni Te Fi. They probably have planned something ahead(Ni) and would likely to start it(Te) if they r truly passionate about it(Fi). They don't really care about what others think since anyways most of their ideas are absurd to the average mind, if they like it then they will do it and probably don't need encouragement. Encouragement is more of a ISTJ thing.

      You're misinterpreting Te. I have a theory that the cognitive functions are the result of your needs and compatibility.
      Te goal lies in benefitting the group and making speculations on what others need. So they're not necessarily interested in tasks that benefit no one, which makes them different from INTP where difference is just P and J.
      Besides what function of ISTJ makes you think they require more encouragement than INTJ. I'd say ISTJ requires much less, coz Ni is a super rare dominant function which makes INTJ and INFJ feel alienated. So they're always like, 'This is my way of doing it and I think it can succeed but can also go wrong as they are already seeing both futures.' while the Si doms use guaranteed traditional methods that are known to work. They don't even analyze the method or sometimes even comprehend what's actually going on.
      Btw feel free to argue, I won't take any offense as long as you're logical. (Te)

    As an INTJ, I think sleeping is a waste of time and I just want to know… Is there any other person here that thinks the same? (Not asking to only INTJ but please mention your MBTI when answering, I’m curious)

    • @sigma.analysis
      @sigma.analysis 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm an INFJ who's leaning more and more to INTJ and I don't think sleeping is a waste of time.
      Sleep is crucial to humans, since everyone needs rest in order to function properly and have energy for the day. Not sleeping will only hurt you in the long run and will have drastic consequences over time. The interesting question is, what do you think you will gain by not sleeping? More time? More productivity? This can be accomplished by figuring out which time of the day you're most productive and some discipline. I am sure you're aware of the negative consequences lack of sleep had for your body, that's why I find your question, especially as an INTJ yourself a bit irritating.

    • @barbaradps828
      @barbaradps828 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sigma.analysis I mean that it is a waste of time that we need sleep because yes I know that we sadly need it but it is literally wasting 1/3 of our lives not even doing something we appreciate. If I was to re-make humans in a very particular way, one thing I would definitely change is that instead of sleep, we could be doing something that we like such as watercolour and that this would give us relaxation because we have nearly no time to do these kind of things already with work/school and doing basically nothing for hours and not even feeling the nothing, our mind is just gone, feels like a huge waste of time on anything we could be doing yes work, but also appreciable things and of course I’m not saying work can’t be appreciable, the appreciable thing could very well be work but yeah I will a bit re-take your last words, you might have known or not that my comment had a touch of humour in it while also honesty and some inner-fantasy, but I find a bit irritating that you, as an INFJ, didn’t get that.

    • @sigma.analysis
      @sigma.analysis 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@barbaradps828 Oh okay, so that's how you mean that question. I actually considered that but wasn't quite sure. In fact, it's an interesting approach. If one could play God and remove sleep from the human schedule, would one do it and why? I feel like this answer really depends on where do you see the purpose of humans. Does a human have to be always productive and "doing something" in order to live a fulfilled life? In my opinion, things get a lot more value because of the limited time. If we'd have time 24/7 many things, skills and activities would lose their value.

    • @barbaradps828
      @barbaradps828 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sigma.analysis Well not really, it’s just that they would take a bit less time to learn and actually people could have even more advanced skills that would impress people and it’s also not much about having a fulfilled life, but being able to do what you like in life since we can literally just not do them sometimes because work/school already takes that time as soon as you think you have free time, well you have to go to sleep so basically no time to watercolour or other activities at the end because yeah work/school are already taking all the time and this time even sometimes overlaps on moments you could spend with your family or friends and yeah sometimes we all have the « I wish I had more time » thought and I think the solution for that would be in the 1/3 of life were we aren’t even doing anything 😭 So yeah skills would still be impressive, just more advanced probably and activities would probably still be fun, we would just be trying more activities than we are right now thanks to that guaranteed 8 hours of awake relaxation and we could also look at as an example how people see sleep: Half love it, half don’t like it much but everyone still appreciates it at a certain point and that is why I still kind of think that they could still like the activities
      (I just want to mention that I love this discussion, very interesting, so thank you!)

    • @sigma.analysis
      @sigma.analysis 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@barbaradps828 I can definitely see your point! I just have a bit more bleak opinion on the whole topic and think that the government would "force" people to work more, since they have more time now. But regarding the possibility of having more time in life to do the things you love, it would actually be a great thing. But I feel like realistically it wouldn't end up like that.
      I agree with you, that conversation was definitely really interesting! Thank you for sharing your point of view and making me think about that question:)

    Would y’all say INTJ’s scorn of emotions(their lack of value/respect for emotions) can lead them to emotionally abuse partners?

      It means in terms of decision making. So appeals of pathos are weaker and arguments that hinge on the passion aspect are less well received. Any type of person can be abusive emotionally. Abuse isn’t really a personality but a defect in character.

      @@PsychologyRefresh An issue being reduced to the emotion you felt and not the issue at its core. So now you’re left to seem over dramatic or possibly irrational because of how you’ve reacted. It leaves the other person doubting their perspective and reaction is valid. This person’s also told me about a past relationship where they’d be saying they acknowledge and understand your feelings and would do better but in their head they’re saying what an emotional and sensitive bitch. So there’s an element of distrust laid as well. I’m an ISFP so I’m very capable of understanding and using logic but I just happen to honestly acknowledge emotions experienced but would never hinge an argument on them.

    Isn’t it a core need for everyone to be understood? There’s no way that’s just a “INTJ” thing.

    Speak of post-wtv tf you wanna call this-clarity 😭
    Why's everyone crying about inclusion, I'm always left out of get togethers and I'm basically ignored by my friends on a daily basis, it doesn't bother me because it's not like I cared in the first place, I don't get much attention so I have all the alone time I can have 'cause it's not like anyone was gonna talk to me, it's pretty cool imo.

    #5 WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG! You are 100% incorrect with number 5. I wish people would stop asking me to do stupid stuff all the time. No matter how many times I explain I am not interested, people keep asking me. This has been one of the reasons I have liked to moved cites every couple of years, so I can shake all the fleas off! This could not be a bigger frustration in my life. I try being polite, I try to explain but explaining things to a NPC seems to be pointless more often than not. I get why people become hermits. Whoever wrote #5, you suck and this misconception is a thorn in my side.
    #9 Good Luck to the other INTJ's. IMO we live in the Kali Yuga and there are very few who will understand anything.

      I’ve felt that way a large part of my life because it’s a social stigma to say no to things and people don’t understand. But then, I think the opposite side is worse… when people just stop asking you. Like being at work with your friends, and they all just leave to get lunch and no one asks you. Or they’re talking about getting drinks after work and you’re not invited. No, I don’t want to get drinks, but not being invited just deepens the wound of how you’re different from them and will never fully belong or be understood.

      @@aurelie8220 The solution is to ask someone else to join you instead. That way you control the size and composition of the company. And you let it be known that you're not completely antisocial.
