I carry a torque wrench, and a decent set of tools, fittings, etc. just in case. Even if you cannot make the repair yourself, you should have a decent set of tools so that your nice neighbor could possibly assist you in a repair to salvaging your trip.
Thanks for your video. I’m going to go and get one. I also especially appreciated the fact that you demonstrated how to use it, that there is a setting to determine, and that once you hear a click you’re good to go. Not all of us have ever used a torque wrench.
Always. Also a good idea to torque bolts and nuts in steps. If it torques to 50lb-ft, torque to 40lb-ft first and then go back through and torque to 50
Everyone is different read your manual I have a keystone outback and even when you call the manufacturer they won't give the # to you they say read the manual

Grab a nice, sturdy Breaker Bar while you're at Harbor Freight - makes loosening/removing lug nuts and other highly-torqued nuts much easier.
Excellent advice! You get what you pay for when it comes to tools.
Great content man! Glad to see the channel is doing well. Miss ya cousin!
Great information. Don
Do you need to retighten the lug nuts in a star pattern. I was told that is important. Curious!

What’s a typical / average torque? I’m doing new tires in the next few weeks myself.
I hope he answers...

Name?
Does this apply to motorhomes? I see you are always working on towables.
I actually work on more motorhomes, I just gear my content to towables for the most part. But yes it’s still important on a motorhome
