In a battleship, when the reload of your main battery guns in seconds gets lower than the caliber of your guns in inches, shit gets really scary for the poor bastards on the other end real fast.
It gets very fun if you’re playing a Preussen in Arms Race. The main battery reload is down to about 21 seconds with one of the mods you can mount. With adrenaline rush and reload buffs I was down to something like 11 seconds IIRC. With 18 inch guns.
I'm not impressed with Dave's skill. LOTS of missed shots - I don't think zooming out right before you shoot helps with aim. He had 14s reload because of Halsey & his team getting buffs.
That was my thought as well. Jingles was talking about Dave's team just dying, but they had 2 -3 times the amount of buffs that the red team had and lots and lots of very nice reload buffs.
@@oldRighty1 The irony here is that dave's lack of aim for the first half of the battle is pretty much why he was able to get so much damage later. And since Dave's team had practically all buffs against the enemies 2 buffs, one can easiely understand why he was ahead.
OK, that worked, Jingles! Actually... Nah, not going to do that one! A team gets points for picking up buffs, too. And Dave's team have picked up more buffs than the enemy has. So, more points. And yet another way to win!
ACTUALLY JINGLES! The cap point in Arms Race does not end the battle, Id know iv captured it. All it does is give you a points tick. Your thinking of Standard battle where capping the enemy base ends the battle.
Am I the only one to have noticed the Ohio travels at close to 195 KPH according to post battle report? 49.67 KM travaled in 15:18 gets you close to this figure!
You missed how the enemy team effectively threw the game. Up until 14:58, they only had 2 of the 4 types of buffs when the Marlborough finally picked up HP regen for the first time as their third. They never had increased damage at all.
Jingles, I've commented this before but I spose I need to again. Capturing the main area in arms race IS NOT an automatic win like you seem to think. It just gives your team points like a normal capture point would, albeit a few more points per tick.
The Warspite has legendary accuracy? Not when played by me :P When I first downloaded this game I invested in a Warspite (following a Jingles vid and being from the UK), but thankfully there was a 300% bonus on gold, which meant I could get the Massachusettes too, which is easily my favourite ship!

Still than this battle wouldn't have endet in a new record as the team of VeryHonarbrah wouldn't have survived to win this battle against all his efforts to win it. His own team would have started to die much earlier and for sure even faster. In that perspective the world record is even more impressive and that the enemy team survived that long and fought that hard with all these disadvantages makes this battle also to a battle were the enemy team had shown a very impressive battle in total. The last broadsiding battleships were indeed hilarious, but I would say most of them were caught in the battle on there flank and just missed, that the other flank had fallen. Overall this result is even harder to gain, as the enemy team had no real health advantages during the whole battle.

For shame Jingles, featuring a hacker's replay! Clearly he must be hacking as he got a citadel on an aircraft carrier, and everyone knows they don't exist! 🤣
Also Great replay, and congrats to Dave for the world damage record in the USS Ohio!
Jingles said "dodge" and I immediately went to TFS Dragonball. What am I traumatized from that series?
8:05 You're not far off Jingles... Assuming the time is in minutes: 27889568 / 60 = 464826 hours / 24 = 19368 days / 365.25 (correction for leap years) = ~53 years
"I may just end up calling him, 'Dave.'"
Dave's not here, maaan.
that's a very honoroubrah Dave!
the time for the key area to appear is actually a little more than 52 years its only around 3183 or so.
[First Comment]
'Dave's Team': *Keeps exploding.*
Basically Jingles: "Stop EXPLODING, cowards!"

[Second Comment]
Jingles: "-constantly getting distracted by the HUUUUGE damage numbers..."
Me: _"There's another Brest joke hiding in there..."_
That's a paddlin'.
A-men to that!
