Elizabeth Smart shares in Part 2 of a special two-part Heart of Minky story that after 9 months of cruelty and not ever being treated like a child by her captors, she was offered something that didn’t bring her comfort.
In the years since, Elizabeth has become a powerful advocate for those who have experienced trauma. A special collaboration she has formed with Minky Couture and the Peace House brings survivors what she wishes she would have received after her rescue.

I would like to know the prices and how to order. I first saw them when I saw Beau Sparks cuddled up in one in a video his dad did. I have wanted one ever since because I need my security blanket at age 76 as much as a 5 year old.

I’m watching this as I’m all snuggled up in my apricot Hugs!! Elizabeth is such an inspiration to so many people who have gone through the worst things imaginable. I love that she is an advocate for survivors. She’s a very special woman ❤
I love this idea- I know I would love one! I remember when I was scared, I would hide in my blanket for security. I would make a small peephole whilst hiding in under my blanket- so that I can breathe! I would hover so tightly under the blankets afraid to move! At times, I couldn't breathe! Thank you Minky Couture for donating these beautiful blankets- BTW where can I purchase the same donated blankets. I would treasure one!' 💙💙🙏🏾🙏🏾
What a wonderful video. The interview and editing with Elizabeth in Part 1 was so well done! To hear Elizabeth speak about all that she went thru, how she has moved on in her life, and is a rockstar advocate for victims of sexual violence is inspiring. Her resilience to live life beyond her tragedy is truly amazing. The wonderful advice she gives about forgiveness and finding ones own inner strength is life changing. Thank you to Sandi (Minky) for opening this dialogue and for the generous gifting of these special blankets you selflessly donate to so many worthwhile charities and organizations. I am in awe and inspired by the two of you thoughtful and incredible ladies. To Sandi and especially Elizabeth.....I wish you every happiness. ❤
