Dude its a air. Cooler.. the air contains moisture and that will cause so many health issues like cold , fever etc.. as we know if we sleep in a room with water air cooler in it , the next we will have cold.

It will be even more helpful if the manufacturers in some way direct at least a little amount of air flow on to the inside top of the helmet, a detachable duct or something in that order. Hope you will do a long-term review too. I am particularly keen on battery stamina after regular usage. Also I would like to know if the battery can be changed in case of failure.
The battery is sealed in, and cannot be replaced. We draw only DC current from the battery (and that too at a fraction of its discharge rating); plus, given our battery run time of 10 hours, we don't expect you to need a battery change. Your point on flowing air to the inside top of the helmet is well taken - we will see what we can do there :)
I think design a complete helmet with the cooler can save space and will be more effective as you can spread cool air all around by designing with multiple cool air entry points with bigger battery all in the helmet itself.

Cold air is heavy so it sits down.and one will be installing it at the bottom of helmet and the air ducts are also throwing air just at the bottom of helmet.now my question is how it’s going cool your head?

Usage is a bit cubersome. If you can give a feedback to the company, plz tell them to do something about the Open/Close system that prevents water spill. It is not possible to ride with straight pointed face in cities, where we sometimes have to look left, right, or at angles. In such case water will spill out. Also, is the fan motor, wirings, and battery water proof? Hope company will work on this, and get an even better version of this. Otherwise, its a nice innovation.

No, we haven't seen that happen. Picture a fan that's creating an air curtain between your face and the visor at a temperature that's a few degrees lower than your skin temperature. That's what BluSnap does. The air flow is not severe and is directed away from the face. Hope this helps. thanks!

I agree with Bulu that the main use case is in the city; that said, the effectiveness for a tourer depends on how severe the heat problem is for you. Sanket, Humidity is a problem only if the air is stale. In our case, we flow air in a very localized region, and this causes any potential stale-air to be flushed out immediately. You can picture it to be similar to a beach - the air is very humid but the flow is large enough that there is no staleness - our propostition is similar; just that it is localized to your face. It will create too much moisture inside helmet and probably that would create irritation problem and it would lead to uncomfortable ride for bikers, and also it will be quite heavy which will lead a problem to the rider. Over all idea is different but it comes with some real serious problem too. Hence I am a product designer, i know this would have many different problem. And also it would create germ environment inside your helmet as it will increase the humidity. There lots of point to work on it. It need a proper development. No offence, it is only my view. Sorry if it hurts to someone

In our case, air is constantly flushed out and so, the risk of germs/discomfort due to moisture is not there. It is similar to a beach where one is very comfortable breathing air that is close to 100% humidity simply because the flow is very high.
I'm sorry if hit a nerve I was talking from a psychrometric point of view, since we usually have relative humidity of 80-90% adiabatic heat removal would not be that effective since DBT - WBT difference is hardly 1°C The only thing I find positive is moving air thats about it
Kaustubh Gaonkar the wet bulb temperature (even in a humid place like mumbai) is about 28-29 deg c. What blusnap will do is blow air into the helmet at ~ 29-30 deg c. This creates air flow at a temperature that is few degrees lower than the skin temperature enabling heat removal. A lot of the product testing was done in Chennai which is a similar test case as Mumbai; the key is recognizing the role that air flow plays in heat removal. We now have multiple customers in Mumbai that have been using the product for 3-4 weeks, and their feedback is that the cooling performance is effective. Happy to share more details :)

Kumaresan v you will need to remove the chin guard. Blusnap will anyway block wind from entering through the chin area
