Great descender, I'm using the Petzl I'D for since 2015, and still very happy with it :)
I have one, I always feel confident in any situation to help if it’s needed.
Best piece of equipment we have out of all of our gear.
We use the Rig to explore Abandoned Mines. It is awesome!

Can I use the ID‘s with a 9.8mm rope?
We are faceing problem for pulling the rope from ground to terrace ....is there any tool to pull the rope
What does the 'I' stand for? Trying to solve a bet

The sound was abrupt when video started
panic saf...ok. but slow, huge, heavy and ugly and it wont let you descend fast enough. no compare to my all time favourite the "petzl stop" which is also great for woring and descending loads...

Turn off antipanic

think that I"D work 10mm ropes????
No. Smallest you can go with either is 10.5mm
