Just wondering if the excavation was done in the opposite direction, the tractor/trailer would always move forward instead of reversing. It’s kida safer loading over the tail board in my opinion. In that video direction the excavator operator deals with a “pinch point” with the truck cab. The final trim can be still achieved over the tail board.

I can remember when breaking out the manholes was a trac air and jack hammer job. They should get that bloke off the white 2CX scraping the tailings up and give him a shovel and a barrow. He's leaving more behind than he's picking up.
