17:49 So gates prevent from one way. You were going the opposite, and the spikes hit box is slightly smaller than its edge. Normally, the opposite direction effect prevents it, cause one way only, but by moving above the same way, you snuck in the gap. Then, since you weren't colliding with the hit box anymore, you could go right and win. I'm sure it was explained on stream, but for those wanting the explanation in VOD, there you go.
To be a bit more clear on the unused animation: If you go digging in the files, you won’t actually be able to find this. This is because this is moreso a normally inaccessible state Mario is put into (crouching while holding something). The holding animation is an additive/partial animation, which means that it’ll replace the posing for Mario’s top half while allowing his bottom half to animate and switch between different animations all fine (this is how he’s able to walk and stand still with only one extra animation). It’s normally not possible for Mario to be ducking whilst this animation is applied
12:47 "I did it! I'm smart! I'm smart, chat! I'm smart!" The look of pure joy and accomplishment that only a gamer would understand and truly appreciate. Congrats on the successful charity stream!
"Shut up and luck away" seems like it's indicating that you have to go through the doors repeatedly until you randomly get lucky and a koopa spawns instead of the galoomba.
Mario Maker 1 and 2 has always had a thing where getting a power up and taking damage especially in Mario Bros 1 style causes the game to pause for a fraction of a second.
By any chance, Someone tried to go P speed and fly to the left in the 2nd MachoMan's level?? Why?? IDK. Maybe the Starman bounces higher to try to reach Mario or something. Just a random idea.
I was wondering if he could tailwhip the star while NOT powered by a star. Maybe when you have a star activated, the tailwhip no longer works on a star, but will work while not powered? Obviously tailwhip still works on other things in a star, but MAYBE this is a unique item?
"Holding 'run' makes you go faster." Thanks for that
Who would have thought?
No actually way bro
That was inspirational
Is that what that button is for??

So once again, DGR makes a clickbait title, is it?
@@SephirothRyu To be honest, the title of the level itself is clickbait
The animation looks like Mario is [click]batin'. The shadow on his hand oscillates.

I have not seen unused information exploited like this since my college days.
That animation is actually really cool, seeing Mario duck while holding an object
"Even if that made sense, it would not make sense", DGR, 2024
How dare TH-cam hide this video from me for 1 minute!

Powerless Flown Star theme got me in real tears
No intro, this must be serious
We never got closure.
Feel like for "powerless flown" you need to tail whip the star while invincibility is off, hence the title, can anyone confirm?
Mario lifts with his legs, not his back!
Bit into a slim Jim oooyah dig it
Yo, The Wii U servers are down, how did you even get access to other smm1 levels? (unless i’m stupid and you downloaded them before)
17:23 ah yes, Dave language
Great videos DGR
16:17 seems like you'll need to use the Tanuki Suit tail to somehow smack the star up?
The bone is so meatless he had to go back in time bro 🤤
He got Brains!!
GG🎉😊MARIO❤ I LOVE ❤
