Well, that's admirable Governor. But the Dems had a chance to actually abolish the brokers fee last year, but they did not. So, again, it is true to form to say stuff and do nothing Less talk, more action.
You know that renters will still pay the broker’s fee. The landlords will just jack up the monthly rent which, in the long term, will cost the renter more. Maybe, a better idea is to have the broker’s fee paid over a period of time, say twelve months.
If you eliminate the broker fee, the landlord will back the cost into the rental agreement. Meaning you'll end up paying for the broker fee over time. Either way, the broker is going to get paid by you the renter. You either take it up front or over time.
I think Gov. Healey waiting to see a bill be proposed and to see what the bill entails. And, to be fair, this is really a Boston issue. Perhaps Mayor Wu should get on top of this.
Well the TNC DRIVERS ON UBER AND LYFT should pay their fair tax to Massachusetts if working on the apps as drivers having out of state license plates rented or not to repair our roads and infrastructure governor just like in new york

Any good reporter knows years ago, Healy said Massachusetts was a sanctuary state. Now her tune changes to save her job
Said nothing about how she’s gonna abolish it. 🙄 meanwhile I’m out $4500 for a 3min “open house” style tour. 😑

The hardest working Governor in the Nation! Working for Massachusetts!👍🏼
Why are so many people leaving the state if she is doing so well?
She’s incompetent
The hardest working at taking away our second amendment rights
