I just bought the 105 off E-bay also to be used as my everyday knife and so far I love it. I had a 120 and a 102 that I have had for years and got concerned about loseing them thanks for the review. The newer cases are not that rugged I have had to repair mine twice this winter I am hoping to make a better one for it
+cabotbluegill I saw your video where you picked the 105 as one of your 5 favorite bushcraft items. It's a great 'lil knife. You can't beat made in America. Take care, John
the hardware store down the street sells those , i have had my eye on one for years. but never have picked one up. I really like the sheath it looks rugged and well made for heavy work and wear. You got a nice knife there John.
I have owned a Buck 105 sińce the 1980’s. It is still in great shape. A great knife.

what the difference for what buck sells on the website to what buck sells at big box sporting goods for considerably less money ?
bought one for my husband but the one with cocobola wood and he loves it. He has several knifes but now this is his favorite one that he uses everyday
Thanks Erica, it sounds like a beautiful grip. Take care, John
