Great information and very helpful. The guided breathing exercise was a little difficult to follow as the music was too loud and lost the counting. Keep up the great work 👍

Has anyone noticed he's counting faster than actual seconds? This why one the silly Mississippi two, Mississippi exists. Though I prefer one one thousand, two one thousand. 😊
Thank you for breathing with us! You can find songs on our Spotify playlist here open.spotify.com/playlist/6khkV8dFir79oB6FmKNqaU?si=10562f75d07c4645 We also recommend using Shazam to check the musician’s name and song title for any of our recordings. It’s completely free and can detect the background music despite our added voice + breath layer.
Why can't I inhale slowly? 16 seconds? The longest I can inhale is 3 seconds. What's wrong with me. I have a genetic (ryr-2 gene) neuromuscular deficiency. Maybe that's why? On the bright side I can exhale for 24 full seconds or more.
@@LolzrsableI did a bolt test. And yeah it's at 12 seconds. I asked my neurologist about this; and just as I suspected my limitation is largely due to my condition (called Central Core Disease). And also because I have only 30% breathing capacity out of one nostril which is also permanent. And so the amount that I will be able to improve is minimal. However I'm more disappointed in my doctor; for not knowing about breathing exercises. It may not be obvious to him - but it is to me - that is just as necessary for this disease as stretching and pilates/physical therapy. I'm eager to see if I improve and by how much.
@@tiffanimuldoon7610 you can defintely get to a very healthy level, it may not be over 30-40 sec but even just 20-30 is great. I wouldn't say that's minimal. I think most people are around 5-15 sec. Be sure to not let your breathing get too hectic outside of practice. . Good luck!

Harry and Amanda, you both are awesome. Where can I find this one in the app?

Think he might be going with the music…so beats rather than actual seconds.
What song is this?

It just means your bolt score is low. If you feel a lot of air hunger on the slow breaths just keep practicing! it will get better.
Thank you for breathing with us, Tiffani. Work your way up slowly and listen to your body 💜
