Thank you once more Adam for another knowledgeable and interesting video. Your passion for ancient books has pushed me to dwelve into this magical world and will never be able to thank you enough for that. Looking forward for always new videos, have a good day! 😊😊
What a wonderful book! It is one of my favorites, more than anything because it comes from oral tradition, just like the Homeric poems, this also constitutes a giant oral heritage of centuries and centuries, I always think of these books as the testimony of song culture more than of language that is written. It is also key to keep in mind that we do not really have the musicality or content of the original, since the first translation by Antoine Galland lost a lot and then he added stories directly written, not translated, into French.
ILAB dealers in the UK. PBFA dealers and regional books fairs under their umbrella. Too dealers like Maggs Brothers, Peter Harrington, Quaritch, Sotherans etc

I think the real question is, how many rare antique books do I need before I acquire that accent? 😂 Hahaha, thank you for these videos!!

If the barcodes still work on most scanners, let’s do it ;)
If I may offer a suggestion on pricing that rare volume, make sure you sell it for more than you paid to acquire it. ;-)
I usually abide by that rule, but honesty not always. Sometimes success as a dealer requires cash flow more than profits
