I love this simple tarp tent and the mud tent, theres no reason for anyone to freeze at night in an emergency, even a dugout will protect you from the elements, but the mud hut makes me feel cozy and at home!great work and thank you for showing us this!🙏

I built something similar to this but a bit smaller when I was a kid. I read about this technique in one of the history books and me and my sister built it. Its such a fun experience. I'm gonna try to do it again this weekend

I have spent probably 3/4 of my life camping in every terrain you can think of and one of the first things I was taught was, if it's raining, snowing or windy you do not set up your camp out in the open. It's easy to figure out why after you apply common sense to the factor.
