You know what, I subscribed today based on the creators resilience and willingness to learn by trial and error. It's not easy filming like he has alone , building debris shelters using just a tarp day after day takes effort, energy and hard work. Next time you head out to film, bring candy with you. If you feel cold at night or get the shivers, eat a sugar candy and you will warm yourself fast. Works great at night time if you wake up with the chills.

If you have the proper equipment, i.e. a suitable sleeping pad, sleeping bag, wool blankets and a tent, then you don't need a fire for anything except cooking.
