- I am camping in style today. Nothing better in gloomy and rainy weather than a big comfortable tent in the Misty Rain Forest Mountains. Well not sure if I can call it a tent, it's like a Villa. KingCamp Khan Villa to be precise.
With alot of comforts inside it feels like a fully furnished cabin in the rain.

This took me back to my youth growing up Cairns FNQ. 🥰Best memories camping at Lake Tineroo or Lake Eachem in the Atherton Tablelands...I don’t miss the March Flies or the big golden orb spider webs I always managed to walk into on my way to the loo 😳❌🕸🕷. I miss the sounds and smells of early morning... or just watching a giant goanna amble past the tent and continue up a tree. Wish I had ur magnificent set up back then but I guess a leaky tent, deflated blow up beds, midge bites, food raided by bush turkeys n possums with an odd python or two are all part of my fondest memories. Thanks for sharing the adventures of Ted n yourself. 👍
