I really enjoyed this video (including the Michael Jackson thing near the end - wearing only one glove - lol!), as I’m looking at doing something similar. This was well done, and I learned a good bit. Thanks!
My trailer has the front bumper type rail. I welded a 2 inch hitch receiver to the rail, with a piece of 4x2 square tube from the hitch receiver down to the middle frame member on the trailer. Makes a box like mount that is very strong. I opted for a simple system and did not want a box on the trailer with a separate battery. I mounted the solenoid to the hitch receiver the winch mounts to and I bought a 30 ft jumper cable set with quick disconnects. When I want to winch something, it's just a matter of hooking the jumper to the trucks battery then plugging it into the winches disconnects and off I go. Simple.
Drill holes in the wood for the heads of the bolt to sit in. I see later you did this! Love it.
Looking good bro, I like the flush look too makes it more sturdy.
You talk to much

Looks good, bro. I have the same winch on my trailer. I made a removable mount so I can use it on the trailer, ATV, or truck.
Thanks ... was thinking of doing the same thing.
You did a good job for your first time doing it.

Thank you much appreciated❤️
Great video Thanks 👍
Good job!
thanks for the video...come install mine I just bought one yesterday.
I need to get a military humvee on my trailer
This winch can handle alot you'll be surprised once you start using it, get your self a snatch block to help out to take stress off the winch🤙
i thought a install included wireing it up??
What size bolts did you end up with
Nice. I just bought one today . I have to mount it so it’s removable here in the Buffalo winters. What kind of battery do you use with this?
I used a deka outdoorsman battery.
Make sure you fix your cable on the spool
Mount the bracket first lol with those bolts ...then put your winch on!!
I could easily figure out how I wood mount that winch and make it work
Nice 🤙.. thanks for watching.
How is the winch doing after 11 months
It's still going strong 💪
Hey bro does it come with the plate?
Yes it came with everything you see in the video.. I recommend just upgrading the bolts
Too bad you don't know that the lock washer and washer got to go on the nut side
