@@xjf8h83qe0oc9 It was impressive. Take Silent Hill 1 as an example, devs had the idea to cover the town on fog, since only the area surrounding the player was needed to be rendered. That was because of harware limitations. Another technique as a mean to counter those limits, almost all PS1 games would subdivide every surface to keep textures from warping and limit the waste of polygons used. The base Ps4 can run those games despite being almost 6 years old is because of dynamic res, lighting, scaled down textures, draw distance reduced, anti aliasing, blur, etc. Not because the console is good, it had bad specs even for 2014 PC standards.

Honestly with the ps5 if they made a wireless built in screen version that was kinda like a throwback to the ps1, they would make lots and lots of sales, and get away with making it like 600 bucks. While the other 2 models would be 500 and 400. Yes ik thier are attachable carry bags that do this for the ps4 but im talking abot a built in system
Do you know how much power something like that would need on top of the size of the battery? 600 for that isn't even feasible considering the additional cooling, nice screen, and battery it would need. That is easily a $1000 product that would be for an extremely niche audience lol
@@PantsaBear I understand it would need lots of power, and for that it would need an annoying big battery pack, honestly if you want to pull this off and sell it it would be the size of a medium-small suitcase and would cost well over 1k. Now that I'm thinking about it more. But that size would only be due to having a large screen, a much smaller bag could carry all that heavy ass equipment with wheels, and open up while standing to reveal a 30inch or smaller display. Or if you want a hand held version it would be in somthing about the size of a duffle bag, not so small that a battery pack would be an inconvenience but not too big so you can still carry it. Would be an annoying thing to haul around unless your just bringing it to your buddies. And after all that now it seems like a shitty product I wont even buy 💀 Sony would be crazy to try an sell a suitcase size portable ps5 with a large display. Just bring it anywhere like a normal suitcase, open the zipper and pull out the blue painted aluminum frame holding a monitor, and on the other side thiers another aluminum frame that pulls out with gliding hinges revealing a ps5 much lower than the display. But to sell the package the suitcase would come with all the accessories revealed, like the headset, camera, ect. Without a hefty price but a price still lower than buying all the equipment needed to make it yourself, so it has some value atleast and is not just throwing away money.
I was lucky to get one of these in 2001, but after one night of Resi, took it back to Electronics Boutique, paid a little extra, and got a Dreamcast with 4 games, instead. Never looked back. :) The PSOne is notorious for having defective lid closure clips.

Relaxing End: *Unboxes things that I want with cool knives everyday*
@@AliEssa-oq7if lmao I thought of something similar. It didn't sound very appealing vs my nice tv at home
@@PantsaBear yessir, lmao i sent a long ass reply, im baked asf and really got into how to pull this thing off 💀
I was lucky to get one of these in 2001, but after one night of Resi, took it back to Electronics Boutique, paid a little extra, and got a Dreamcast with 4 games, instead. Never looked back. :) The PSOne is notorious for having defective lid closure clips.
"You were almost turned into a sandwich!" Best part
Gibble sandwich...lol
Get it right.. "You were almost a Jill sandwich".
@@paft A Jill sandwich..that sounds delicious😆🤣
The playstation is one of my favorite game consoles ever
I like how on the box art the cable of the controller has the shape of the lower right part of the actual controller. Attention to detail 👌🏻

He has one, he should to make a Pt.2 tho !
Man I really missed playing the original Resident Evil. They put so much effort into games back then, and it showed. I feel like games had better stories back then.
Mail the flyers and see what reply you get. Just curious lets see if you still get a demo disc.
