- As the years go by, our opinions of Ninjago seasons often change. Here’s a look at Ninjago seasons which, in my opinion, have gotten better over time.

This channel aged well. Not to hate or anything, but I remember how popular it was when I discovered it 4-5 years ago. One of my favorite channels. It's crazy how after a while you can go from 20k views to 20.

@@DailyRoLord I'm from Brazil and since I was 10 years old I've always loved going to TH-cam to find out about theories and news about the next seasons of Ninjago! I was on all the existing channels talking about theories about Ninjago, without even understanding English and now at 17 years old, I continue researching. Thanks for bringing Ninjago news! (I used a translator to communicate, because I don't know how to interact in English fluently)

You should start a ninjago rewrite series, where you rewrite ninjago in a way you would change it. (Kinda like how dygoknight rewrote naruto)

I’m really glad season 11 aged well, I rewatched it and I had a blast with it, sure the filler episodes can be a bit annoying but I still find some entertainment in them
the seasons that aged the best are def season 3 and 6. Both hated when they first came out but more ppl like skybound now. Rebooted is not phenomenal but it definetly not bad, it's a decent season.

Honestly, I think the entirety of the first 10 seasons aged well. The only one of them I don't like is season 6, but I think it aged well.
6 is arguably the most controversial season in the wilfilm era
@@mafiagrim I used to think it was the worst thing to come out of the show, but after rewatching season 11 and 15 (Seabound), I changed my mind.

@@Pannikin_9 Yes. Kalmar is a decent villain, but he's just a rip-off of Pythor. I think Benthomar is annoying, Nya and her Mom are very annoying, Kai and Cole are barely in it, and Kai is also annoying. The ending is supposed to be emotional, but because I didn't care about Nya, I didn't care that she was gone.
Imo since they came out, I have never liked S6 & S10 (or the rest of the Oni Trilogy for that matter) , but I agree with you on how S1 & S11 aged well.
Yeah these have aged well. Season 10 is honestly in my top 5. It doesn’t have a lot going on, but it’s fun. That intro is one of my favorites tho!! Was disappointed when it came out but if I could rewrite it, while only having four episodes, I’m taking Cole’s fall out. While that helped Garmadons character, I would’ve made him progress with memories like the pictures for example. I’d expand on the oni more (I think we will see them in DR even if they’re new characters)
Season 11 is another fun one too

They aged well especialy season 1 , when i started watching Ninjago in 2014 , i thought that this is the worst season out of the 3 seasons that it had at the time but as time went on i because more atached to it and now is my 5th favorite season, i stared apreciating the seaso more in 2020 , Season 1 is a must watch.

Although I dislike Season 11 to this day and cant for the life of me understand how it got more popular in recent times
March of the Oni was a much better conclusion to the series than Crystalized.
Don’t get me wrong crystalized is bad but MOTO is infinitely worse.

Season 10 fails in every way crystalized failed only infinitely worse the characters are all completely Annihilated, it breaks not only the plot of its own season but the entire series several times over and the themes of prior storylines are utterly ripped to pieces.
The only characters who were in MOTO who made it out not destroyed were Dareth,the commissioner,the warden,The NGTV news people and the random background side characters in the final scene everyone else was just utterly abysmal.
The amount of good things in the season besides things not story related like the visuals and voice acting can be counted on maybe 2 hands.
@@andreahope7254 I'm sorry but a lot of what you said is objectively wrong. No character was ruined at all. Garmadon had a fantastic character arc of finding is humanity, Kai's journey come full circle with him forging the Golden Weapons, the very thing that allowed the Tornado of Creation, Jay and Nya's relationship had a satisfying conclusion, and Lloyd's choice at the end shows that he understands that life, while not being perfect, is still a beautiful thing. Your arguments are done in horrible faith

Every character except for those I mentioned were utterly Destroyed
Lloyd and Wu both had good reason to believe that the Oni were coming,at the end of Hunted Lloyd himself directly states that he believes them to be on the way and MOTO makes this all the more apparent to Wu as wu says in the first episode of the season that his father feared that the Oni may leave the first realm to conquer other realms. So they both have good reason to believe that an army of Oni who could end everything were on the way to end everything and they did nothing to prepare. They didn’t gather any allies they didn’t warn people so they could evacuate areas in case of an attack and they didn’t do any research on the Oni for possible tactics to use against them or weaknesses to exploit. This inaction endangers not only their realm but every realm. Lloyd and Wu being too irresponsible and careless to not prepare for the oncoming end of existence is a complete and utter character assassination of both of them and that’s just the tip of the iceberg if you think Wu not preparing for the Overlord in season 15 is bad this was FAR worse.
Garmadon was possibly the most thoroughly destroyed throughout the season. The season acts as if all Garmadon cares about is survival and that’s the character flaw that caused him to be the way he is when that is blatantly false. In episode 91 Harumi tells Garmadon if he stays and try’s to control the Colossus he could die and he responds with “I do not flee I control” here he is actively valuing his own power and control over his safety and even if you want to argue that without control over the Colossus he may be killed by the Oni he could just take back control of it from a safer location or at least just move back a few meters when the Colossus is trying to crush him to make it harder for it to do so. He is actively prioritising his pride and power over his safety. On top of this there’s an even more blatant moment of this in the season finale when Garmadon loses his power he literally tells Lloyd to kill him and no he wasn’t using it as a trick to regain his power as some people think because it took him fighting his way through the police station and sparring with SOG members to even reach a level kind of close to Lloyd’s power, without said opportunities a regular police man could overpower him so Lloyd would have just killed him in one attack. He wanted Lloyd to kill him because he knew that would tear Lloyd up inside and he just wanted him to suffer at that point.
With all that in mind it goes without saying that the idea that he only values survival or values survival above all else is blatantly wrong and that’s not even mentioning how he cared for Harumi.
Kai forging the golden weapons is just a nice detail it doesn’t really mean anything to him as a character and it also doesn’t make any sense as even back in the pilot he was an awful blacksmith and since he hadn’t been practicing for years he almost certainly got far worse so him being able to melt them down doesn’t make any degree of sense and that’s not even mentioning that his fire is apparently strong enough to melt the Golden weapons even though in prior seasonsit was never depicted as being anywhere near that strong.
Jay and Nya’s ending is only good out of context it’s completely removed of all meaning when you consider just how much they were damaged in the narrative which I’ll get into later.
Lloyd’s choice is a nothing moment in every sense of the word. He always knew that Life wasn’t perfect but still a lovely thing him not giving up his role as the protector of Ninjago because he was offered something nice in exchange isn’t good for his character it’s in character which is the absolute bare minimum you could hope to do with a character and even then the scene fails to meet that standard as the idea that Lloyd would even consider leaving his family and home without him is an insult to his character.

Bro season 11 actually isn’t bad
In my opinion, I think that season 11 was the worst by far because of how inconsistent and incredibly badly written it was. They forcibly introduced a really lame villain and made Zane pointlessly become an ice emperor. Those are just two of the many problems with season 11.
(I think that animation is definitely not a problem whatsoever. )

I think Skybound is a horrible example for this with the unnecessary sexism and it making no sense at all.
Imo season 6 has aged very poorly
