He actually said to me that his work was his 'hobby'. Sick. Now he's developed dementia and I can see why. When you don't allow your brain to operate in different modes or create experiences that increase dopamine levels in the brain, you literally fry the brain to oblivion. I should be compassionate to his dementia. But he did this to himself and he destroyed 'us' in the process.
But it is weird though like what if your work is enjoyable? Progress is a beautiful thing to sit back and look at, money is def great to look at, extravagant vacations can be taken, you can buy the most comfortable things to relax with It makes doing the work feel good you know?

And what’s even sadder is no one at whatever company he was even cares about him. It’s all an illusion. Best wishes to you and him.
