There's something here that is difficult to describe. There are a select few of us who have had our hearts stolen by these films and all their parts. We see between the lines of Captain Jack Sparrow's wit and beyond the horizon line into something greater. We see and feel adventures we have never had and yet somehow find familiar. There is an aching, a pained desire to stand on the deck of the Black Pearl even though we know we never will. We do what we can to forget the ocean that has plagued us with desire and move on with our lives, but there is no shaking the sea. Some of us embrace it, but no matter how hard we try, we can't find that particular ship's silhouette against the setting sun. It saddens us to feel our fingertips graze against the waves, to almost feel that fantasy spill into reality though it never quite does. So we find pieces of it through the music, through the smell of salt and the burning summer sun, the rustling of palm leaves, the screech of sea gulls. But we find more of it within ourselves than in the world. Keep sailing, friends, there is an adventure of your own to be found out there, you just have to keep searching. You might not find Jack, but you'll find something worth seeing eventually. Follow the horizon, hoist the colours, and know that not all treasure is silver and gold. It's a pirate's life for us- savvy?
"She was one of her kind, the most beautiful thing created you could ever lay your eyes upon. Her every curve, the way she gracefully and proudly moved, her looks.. Sparrow never looked more in love at anyone else. She was like no other, she was the Black Pearl. The best ship you could ever set sail on. If you had the Pearl, you needed no other companion. She became your home and your freedom. Open up the compass, hoist the colors, smile your witty smile so no one knows what thoughts crosses your mind, just you and the Pearl. Yo ho ho! And a bottle of rum! Drink up me hearties! Drink up! And..bring my goddamn hat you useless scum of the earth, mothers' biggest regrets, rotten all the bad eggs!! And keep that monkey away from me! A delicate lovely tone plays for Calypso from a small music box, tune of Davy Jones' broken heart after the storm and rage cleared.. Why?! he yearned, why.. I spent 10 years out at the sea only to see you would never come on that one day? The simple response spilled from calypso's smile just like a child: It is my nature. All the reason Davy loved her and hated her. Yeap, 10 years at sea and one day on dry land if you will. Quite an unjust deal isn't it? No..it wasn't. Turner replied, it all depends on that one day." It is rather an unsettling feeling. Unlike trying to forget about it or moving on. More like being imprisoned here kilometers away from where you feel you actually belong. Feels like you have her calling, you know she wants you and you are supposed to be there till your last breath and you are trying to find a way out of this. And this is the music that reminds you who you really are. This life is not completely yours yet.. you realize you are trying to design a mini compact life for yourself, getting yourself prepared to move into your ship within hours once you have the chance. You have the heart of a pirate but the hands of an office recruit. Your hands should have been torn and ripped from the ropes already. Your face should have the traces of the sun and your hair, of the wind. A sun set is never just a sun set for you. And so is the sun rise. One day. It all depends on that one day. Yo ho ho..
My god yes, you have summed up pretty much everything. The deep yearning to go to places you will never truly see and talk to people you will never truly meet. You might have conversations with them, shake their hands, even hug them, have swashbuckling adventures with them on the high seas in an era long gone. It's all in your head, no matter how much you want it to be in front of you. It's an awful thing.
I don't know if it's just my feeling so isolated during this difficult time, but reading your comment along with the music made me cry and feel inspired at the same time! Beautiful words to remember as we're all on this journey together. God bless you! ❤️🙏
The best thing I’ve ever read. Nothing is more relatable than this. It warms my heart, that I’m not alone. I have mates I just haven’t met. We’re all like a big crew sailing in the same boat, but still so far away. I hope you all the best adventures and a good life.
Jack: You know for having such a bleak outlook on pirates, you're well on your way to becoming one... sprung a man from jail, commandeered a ship of the fleet, sailed with a buccaneer crew out of Tortuga, and you're completely obsessed with treasure. Will: That's not true. I am not obsessed with treasure. Jack: Not all treasure is silver and gold mate.
Same here I really wish Disney would take this franchise off the back burner and focus on it like they did with Star Wars. I think it could be just as popular
@@whybe6936 Thank you I was about to say give credit where credit is due! He did the first movie and set the stage for Hans Zimmer. Not that Hans Zimmer isn't awesome!
@@user-uh3hd3io3z Klaus was one of Hans' students who Hans told to put his name on the movie because Hans was already working on another film and thus couldn't claim credit for both at the same time. All music in the PotC franchise was composed by Hans.
@@ourlordtrotsky3561 Why couldn't a composer claim credit on two movies at the same time? Did his contract forbid it? Or is it a general industry thing?
James Norrington has a great character arc and while he does get a fair bit of screentime I would've liked to see even more of his side of things in the films.
@Surya Singh No my friend, Jack was genius, most of the people would be dead in his shoes like 20 years ago, he just doesnt give a fuck, thats the difference, there is so many people trying to look clever just by reading books but it wont help .. do you unsterstand me ? :) He was genius in different way, that doesnt make him idiot :) ..
@@enna9499 True, it is an amazing quote. But as a fellow die hard POTC fan, I was merely informing that it's a quote mistakenly associated to our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow. (Although it does sound like something he would say😂😂)
This franchise shaped my life… I became an anthropologist (obsessed with treasure), I moved away from home 10 years ago to the sea and never looked back, moved onto a boat, got my captains license, and I may not be “coloring in the lines” of life, but the pirates life is truly the life… “What a ship is… what the black pearl really is… is freedom” That stuck with me since I was a kid. And I have lived my life how I see fit by that to this day
Barbossa was a confusing character, it was always a love-hate relationship between the fans and him. First he's evil, next he's good, next he's evil again. Oh wait, now he's good again. And thankfully, died good.
@@bozotheclown_1993 he wasn't evil. Barbossa was just like Jack. He looked out for himself and only himself unless it suited him otherwise. He was a true pirate to the bitter end. Like Jack, Barbossa had his morally upstanding moments when he wasn't being entirely self serving. But that was what made him such a compelling character. Being a complicated character makes fans like them more.
@@bozotheclown_1993 he was the central antagonist. That's different from being a villain. He was in direct conflict with the protagonists and their goals. Remember that all they wanted to do was lift their curse. They wanted to be able to eat, sleep, feel, and die. Jack literally wanted to kill him. That was his entire motivation. He even cursed himself in case barbossa stabbed him. Trust me, Barbossa is just out for self preservation. Davy Jones was cruel, Salazar was revenge driven. Both were actually evil, but Barbossa was just trying to be able to eat again. But a lot of not villains are still portrayed as the antagonist. In Macbeth(don't worry I'm doing the walk outside thing) Macduff is the antagonist because he's in direct conflict with the main character(and kills him) but he was saving Scotland from the rule of a tyrant. Point is, Barbossa was the central antagonist. Not the villain
It's insane how much better these movies get as time goes on. As a kid they were so much fun but a lot of things went over our heads. Watching them today you realize how clever and brilliant they are. Jack Sparrow is one of the most interesting movie characters to this day and this music is iconic
"Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs... But what a ship is... What the Black Pearl really is... ...is freedom". Jack Sparrow.
Is it just me or did anyone hear the crashing waves within in the music? There were no actual waves but the drummers were so skilled with their instruments that it sounds exactly like it... words cannot describe what a masterpiece this is
I know this is late, but the thing that I've latched onto the most from these movies is in At World's End, Barbossa says: "For certain, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was." The reason I've latched onto that is because there are some who are lost and who so desperately want to go out and be aboard the Pearl, and be apart of so many adventures. I think that for me, I take it as this: For those who are lost, you will soon find your place, and many others after you will do the same. It's only a matter of time before your adventure towards that place you so desperately want to be at is found, and you claim it as yours, and you won't be lost anymore. If everyone knew where their place was, this world might not be where it is today, but some negative changes will affect that. So, for those who are reading this: I know that you will soon find your place, and you will be able to overcome the difficulties of those times to reach somewhere greater, somewhere greater than you've imagined. Keep going, pirate. You'll find your destination. Aye?
Thank you, friend. I needed to hear this. I'm hanging on by my fingertips. No one can hear my screams, dry my eyes or feel my agony. I have been asking the Most High the universe anyone/anything for a sign...this is my sign everything will be ok. I'm going to be fine. It's just the lonliness and silence is like death by a million papercuts. Not deep at all, but deep enough where that shiiiii hurts like a muthafu**a. Everyday I have to remind myself to take another breath keep moving forward. Don't walk into the darkness. Thank you friend for your words. I can go on to the next day and not give into the dark. I can and will see tomorrow.
I am a Merchant Navy Officer(3rd Mate) working onboard, stays onboard the ship around 6 to 9 months before getting a leave to go home.Believe me folks, in the sea middle of nowhere, sailing around the world, everyday, on the bridge, in the evening, sipping my coffee, watching at sunset and listening to this song..... you can feel the wind , you can feel the quietness. I have no words to explain how it feels guys. I'm really thankful to Mr. Hans for this amazing piece of work. Please gals and guys, if u can save some money, go on a voyage onboard, experience this. This, you will remember your whole life. believe me.
i hope i’m not alone in feeling such longing and sorrow to be a part of the potc universe. the movies make me so happy, yet so sad knowing i’ll never be able to stand on the deck of the black pearl & be friends with jack and his crew. such a longing to go back in time and embark on adventures full of unknown people and places. it’s such a deep sadness i cant explain.
They have captured our imaginations and yearning for adventure, for the simple things in life, for the life long friendships made in that world. But it can be a reality. You can make your own story inspired by the movies.
You are just experiencing chemicals in your brain, typical of being an unsophisticated youth. ALL youths feel that way, which is precisely why movie studios know how to use that feeling to SELL to youth. If you want proof, ask any MATURE adult if they feel the same way. The will say 'no'... (or, say: I DID feel that way when I was a youth, but don't anymore)
Commodore Norrington: "You are without a doubt the worst pirate I ever heard of." (Capitan) Jack Sparrow: "But you have heard of me." Jack always has comeback everytime anyone insults him.
@@Ben-uj6qk well, he might not be English and in his language it's ,,Capitan" or something like this - for example, in mine it's ,,Kapitán'' so if I didn't know how to spell it, I'd probably write ,,Capitan"
The community behind this world is crazy. Old fans and new come together to experience and to love this amazing series and to be apart of something greater. Captain Jack Sparrow will always live on in our hearts just and push us to keep going just beyond the horizon. I love you all.
How heartwarming to scroll through the comments and find Mates out there who feel same about the Pearl and all the adventures we've missed out - but believe me imagination is limitless and in our dreams we can sail together... To the horizon ♥️
Pirates of the Caribbean is the ONLY movie series that I’ve seen ALL them in theaters and it’s a tradition that will continue until they (hopefully never) stop making these movies. I had ancestors that lived in the Caribbean and I’ve always felt a strong connection with these movies. They’re just so...one of a kind. Yo Ho!!
Same here mate. 🤗 For me though, I lived in my hometown Penang, Malaysia and it was my childhood before I turned 15 and went to Singapore to study and work at the same time for the past two decades. 😚
I've felt connected to these movies too! It's very possible to me to have some pirate blood, or sailor's blood in general, as Greece, my homeland, is known for her sailors and pirates during 19th century! Also, Crete my where most of my ancestors come from, is known for her sailors...and pirates, so who knows!
I love the first 3 movies more than any in the world, I'm from Bahamas where they filmed the majority of them and actually had Orlando Bloom move in next door to me in a rental house during all this... I was the biggest fan ever, and got to meet him when his dogs escaped and he had to run after them in his underwear, I helped catch them again... but I was too scared to ask for his autograph. I climbed on the flying dutchman when it was berthed in the canal, drove up to the black pearl off-shore as they were filming (we actually interrupted one of their filmings...) and many years later inspired by my love for the series and lifestyle became a sailor aboard an old tall ship "SV Gulden Leeuw" much like the ships here and sailed for 9 months all throughout the Atlantic, North to South... all because of these films and the emotions they gave me, and still do. Imagine the feeling of living out such an adventure and having these songs accompany you during it all, it was just incredible, such a shot to the past...You can only imagine how much of a heartbreak it is for me to see them kill off the last two movies, the last one in particular which has nothing resembling the old, CGI, bad acting, music change..., bad story, bad character development, and they made their ships look like something a child would build! where's the romance? that's what these films are about! just let it die in peace.... I will always love them though.
Oh, dear Pirates of the Caribbean. Love for life. As soon as I hear at least one melody from these films, the character of Jack Sparrow immediately appears before my eyes - a magnificent hero who won the hearts of so many people. Thank God for the talented actor Johnny Depp - a man who can transform into any character, any hero and leave a mark on human hearts. And of course in the history of all mankind. It is so beautiful! Such nostalgia is heartbreaking. With a smile on my face, I remember those times when I ran to buy a licensed disc with a new POTC movie in order to watch it in good quality on a DVD player. So much is associated with this music. The only disappointment of that time is that the character of Elizabeth stayed with Will. To be honest, I always dreamed of seeing her with Jack and the Pearl. But as in life, not everything is always the way we want it to be. Thank you for a wonderful video with so much beauty in it. Listen. with great joy and a smile on his face. Happy listening everyone!
As a Writer, I must thank you for creating this space of music and imagination. This is talking to my soul and it's helping me with my work, and also with some personal issues I am going through right now. I can relate to Jack Sparrow. We all want adventures, that allow our souls to soar to highest or great pleasure and Jack did indeed give us those pleasures. It was always an erotic sense of giving us a place to seek-even it is was unreachable. Jack made it reachable, and he managed to touch our senses by doing so. So "Shiver me timbers Jack... Savvy!"
I highly agree!!!! One day when I become a legendary multimillionaire author, I'm gonna stuff like this for helping make my imagination and writing skills grow to MUCH BIGGER heights!!!
PotC is one of my favourite movie series. Maybe even my favourite. I'm crying listening to this. I know what the moment of each track represents. It's usually either something sad or beautiful or a mix of the two. I'm glad this series is still going. They have at least one more movie in them. #PiratesForever
i kind of do to but its really just for nostalgia. i mean the pirates of the Caribbean have been getting worse ever sense the second movie most were great but the newest one was really bad. the first time i watched it it hit my nostalgia bone but overall its really bad they forgot what made pirates of the Caribbean one so great.(i am a fan to i love it immensely im not saying i hate it though!)
1:30:27 Cold lonely nights aboard a ship heading for nowhere in the middle of nowhere. Cozed up in a small cabin below deck and all you can hear the are the hammering winds and giant waves smashing up against the starboard, followed by the creaking wood echoing through the floorboards and panels
You Sir are a damn good visualizer. I exactly can see what you described. I can smell the world too. You are wasting your time in your day job unless you are a script writer or into screenplay for dramas and movies. #awesome
I feel different... I don't feel sad... Cant say happy... Neither somber. Nor nostalgic. Not quite blissful. Nor melancholic. An unknown yearning. Just a bit... different...
Maybe, deep down dere's a pirate'n all'a'yas. Maybe da sea herself is callin yas home... Or it could be the intent of the composition. Either way... Samesies.
I dont usually like to comment, but this is probably the 100th time I am hearing these sounds, and they STILL give me a feeling of being trapped yet free, happy yet sad, full yet empty, its like this unexplained chain of emotions just going in circles but never feeling the same when one cycle is complete. Like, it makes me feel so numb knowing that none of this will ever be experienced by me, the seas, the ships, the life of a man whose home is in the blues. Idk how to say what I want to say, coz the words i use always spoil what i want to express. Life goes on I guess, freedom is just a bad day away...
I feel the same i'm very sad because i will Never be a pirate i wish i was born at this Time. But i also feel a lot of freedom listening to this songs and i'm happy and very nostalgic that's a very strange feeling. I'm sorry for any grammar mistakes cauz i'm french
I remember my mom taking me to the opening night of The Curse of the Black Pearl. Everyone thought she was crazy- Why would a 9-year-old enjoy some random pirate movie? Turns out there were a lot of reasons. Ages ago now, and that night stands apart as one of the few treasured memories I have with Mum before she got sick, and the music always reminds me of just how much she encouraged me to keep chasing that endless horizon, to fight for what was right (even if not always legal), and to always follow my heart.
I had a deep crush on Keira Knightley throughout my childhood watching these awesome pirate movies in theaters and dvd. And the music just hits me nostalgically. 20:55 just gives me the chills!
By starters, I apologize for my non-fluent english. I´m a 2001 mexican kid. My dad, who worked on the states while I was 4, gave me the movie that will change my life forever, "Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl". By seeing how much I loved it, my dad bought me the next movies while it were comming out and I got the amazing chance to watch some in the cinemas. It's hard to explain how this saga built me as a person. As many people sees it as an ordinary pirates movie, I know that it is not and I always try to explain how beautiful the messages of every movie are; with some many wise characters (as Jack, Barbossa and Gibs), some clever ones (Will, Beckett) and maybe the strongest I've ever seen (Elizabeth), this movies gave me the power to become the adult I'm developing today. I love the fact that I got such a rolemodel as Elizabeth who taught me the power of choices and how to make my voice heard, plus, the way they compared a woman with the sea, not romanticly but as the power each of us have. I could just talk about it a whole day and I would never end. Pirates of the Caribbean is, and will always be, my favorite movies ever, savvy?
"We have our heading" "It would have never worked out between us" "Keep telling yourself that, Love" "I've got a jar of dirt!! And guess what's inside it!" "Hide the rum" "Where's the thump thump" "Pirate" "There should be a Captain in there somewhere" "This will be known as the day you ALMOST caught Captain Jack Sparrow"
I never realized how truly beautiful the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack really was until this playlist. It's incredible, it creates a wonderful ambience.
"Wherever we want to go, we go. thats what a ship is aye? Its not just a keel and hull and a deck and sails. Thats what a ship needs. But what a ship is, what the black pearl really is.....is freedom"
When I was little, I used to love Pirates of the Caribbean so much, that I learned all the dialogues and pauses. I love it to this day and still remember the majority of the dialogues. I obviously learned them in spanish, as I grew up with the mexican dub. "No pierdas de vista el horizonte."-William Turner "Aquí tengo un jarrón. Aquí tengo un jarrón. ¿Qué crees que hay adentro?"-Capitán Jack Sparrow "Hoy es un buen día para morir."-Capitán Héctor Barbossa "No, es un pirata."-Elizabeth Swan
Oh! I gave me a good idea. I also can quote pirates of carribean. And I am learning Spanish. I completely the first year last year and coming on my second. I hope I can learn as much as I did last year. Becuase if not then no es justo.
Ship Captain: sees a figure of him in a cannon "Your Mad!" Jack:"if I wasn't this would probably never work." Uses cannon to launch himself with the rope back to the pearl
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of those film series that will stick with me forever. No matter how flawed the films are, I will always love them. As Captain Jack Sparrow once said, "now, bring me that horizon."
This music has the power to put tears into the eyes of those whom have not cried in years, it brings back memories of childhood, the feel of salt water on your skin, the smell of the sea, the sun scorching down upon the earth. It brings back the longing that only few have, the call of freedom, the promised whispers of leaving this life to a better one, the ocean wanting its long lost children back home. This is the feeling that can be repressed, pushed down, ignored, but never forgotten. The call will always be there, in song, in the wind, in passing comments. Few answer, and even fewer follow, but it will always be crashing with the waves, carried in the voices of birds, and sent to those who are the lost children. Our mother, the Sea, will always wait for us, maybe not where it is planned, or convenient, it is hard to follow. Those who follow, never come back, for they have tasted it, the sweetness of the water where no one has gone before. After all, life comes at a cost, what are you willing to pay for the life you chose?
The score for these films will forever be my favorite. There's just nothing like it. My heart and soul feel at peace. "Take what you can. Give nothing back." :)
Witnessing Jack stand up to the kraken as a 9yr old kid was the first time a movie really made me feel something. I actually mourned watching my hero go down with his ship. "...'Ello beastie."
Y'know I never understood a scene from the fourth film until I watched that particular scene from DMC back myself. "Lost the pearl?!?" "Aye, I defended her mightily enough but she be sunk nonetheless." "If that ship be sunk properly...Then you should be sunk with it!" Jack seemed incredibly insulted that Barbossa didn't go down with the pearl like he did.
“I’m dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly, it’s the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they’re going to do something incredibly stupid.” “The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. Do you understand?” “Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing it again.” “Savvy?” "I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of dirt! And guess what's inside it?"
That first quote sounds so silly to me. Glorifying dishonesty and all... But, for a pirate, he is quite honest😏 Btw, does he really say "honestly" in there? p.s. honesty=/=rudeness, you can say even something unpleasant without being mean (it's easy to see when someone mentions things because they like truth and being objective, and not because they want to insult others just to appear "brave"). Just saying, because I keep seeing ppl who confuse these and pretend they're just being honest when they're only trying to hurt/mock others.
@@Mars-pn9ft ha, I know I take things more seriously than most ppl😛🧐 But if he says "honestly", it's obviously supposed to be humorous and I just had failed to pay attention...
As my husband is sanding upstairs, I'm sitting in the basement trying to write a paper and this is perfect for drowning out the noise so I can focus. Can't thank you enough for creating these alternate worlds where I can escape to do my homework.
I used to live so close to the sea, could hear the sound of the waves, the seagulls and smell the ocean when going to sleep... A few times a year when I had days of from work, I'd sail out with the fishermen and work with them on the ships. Then I had to move inlands, far away in a new life. Listening to this music I realize how much I miss that life. Money isn't everything, I was so much happier back then.
I hear this I close my eyes, I can feel the breeze in my hair and waves slowly washing around my feet. Smell and taste the salty air, it feels so peaceful and perfect like the sea will always draw away what never needed to stay. So now, in the words of Captain Jack Sparrow, bring me that horizon.
I couldn't decide which was my favorite, so here are all three: Will: This is either madness or brilliance... Jack: Its remarkable how often those two traits coincide Jack: Crazy people don't know they're crazy. I know I'm crazy, therefore I'm not crazy, isn't that crazy? Jack: Not all treasure's silver and gold, mate.
It pains me to listen to this because this is the best movies series and it hurts to know that Disney doesn’t make movies like this anymore. Nothings will ever live up to Pirates of the Caribbean💔
I just love this song! i listen it everyday during my job and i cry...i can not stop crying while listening this song. I feel the wind on my face...i feel the freedom that i need! Gratitude!
4:15 I swear I got literal chills with this, my brain imagined the whole scene "Now, bring me that horizon! tanananananananananan... and really bad eggs... ...drink up me hearties, yo-ho!"
Guys, I’ve been reading your comments for a long time and I understand that I’m not alone. However, I want to add to your wonderful thoughts - in fact, we are already part of these stories. Just think about it - a new generation of people will never feel the same way we felt when these films first came out. We were waiting for the continuation of this film. In fact, we traveled with the heroes of these stories, we went through it with them, and in the future there will be no people like us. We were the first to set out on this journey, and with our support and our expectations, Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew continued on their way, and there will be no more people like us. There will be no more such actors and such music. There will no longer be those people who are waiting for the continuation. And this is a real treasure.)
I grew up in an inland country with no access to sea. A few years ago, I finally saw the sea for the first time, and I boarded a ship for the first time. It was one of the most beautiful and strange times in my life, because I felt something I hadn't felt before. I felt whole. It was as if the rocking of the ship completed something in me, something I never even knew I missed. Ever since, I've longed to return to a ship's deck. Sadly, the way the world is now, it isn't possible for me. I can at least dream for now. :)
I don't know about the rest of ya, but personally, I feel such a connection to this series, and the sea. Either I was a pirate, sailor, convict or captain in my past life, but I just feel connected af. Beautiful ambience mate. 100%

it is now my dream to see that sunset and listen to this video as the sun sets into the water and know that somewhere I am home. There are few and only a lucky few in this world who can find peace in all of this cayossand stay true to them selfs. I feel as if I am one of those few to be so lucky to be blessed by the sea and Captain Jack Sparrow as I will forever be thankful for the lessons that I have learned like it's ok to be different and to just stay true. May we never grow up and let the sea guide us into adventure and humbleness. Take what we want and give nothing back!
Hey you. Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, get hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well!
Better were the days when mastery of seas came not from bargains struck with eldritch creatures... but from the sweat of a man's brow and the strength of his back alone. Y’all know this to be true!
There's something here that is difficult to describe. There are a select few of us who have had our hearts stolen by these films and all their parts.

Turner replied, it all depends on that one day."
It is rather an unsettling feeling.

"I"M A LITTLE BUSY AT THE MOMENT"
@@seamus6302 Yet he was portrayed as the villain of the first movie like Davy Jones and Salazar.
Is it just me or did anyone hear the crashing waves within in the music? There were no actual waves but the drummers were so skilled with their instruments that it sounds exactly like it... words cannot describe what a masterpiece this is
I know this is late, but the thing that I've latched onto the most from these movies is in At World's End, Barbossa says:
"For certain, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was."
The reason I've latched onto that is because there are some who are lost and who so desperately want to go out and be aboard the Pearl, and be apart of so many adventures.
Aye?

I will always love them though.
great story!

By starters, I apologize for my non-fluent english. I´m a 2001 mexican kid.

Such beautiful words, Lynn
Wow such a poet Lynn. Hoist the colours high🖤☠🙌💜💫🥰 Savvy?
Savvy.
You forgot one thing, mate... I'm Captain Jack Sparrow!
Well I won't be forgetting that one again, gents you all remember Captain Jack Sparrow? Kill him
Nononon. It's "mmmm cap'n jacks Sparrow 😏"
Aye, we all felt that mate, I be going down with the ship as well, savvy?
the captain goes down with the ship mate
Y'know I never understood a scene from the fourth film until I watched that particular scene from DMC back myself.
"Lost the pearl?!?"
"Aye, I defended her mightily enough but she be sunk nonetheless."
"If that ship be sunk properly...Then you should be sunk with it!" Jack seemed incredibly insulted that Barbossa didn't go down with the pearl like he did.
as someone who grew up with these movies and loves the score endlessly, thank you for this masterpiece
"Welcome aboard the Black Pearl, Miss Turner. You best start believing in ghost stories, Miss Turner... you're in one!" - Captain Barbossa
“I’m dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly, it’s the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they’re going to do something incredibly stupid.”
“The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. Do you understand?”
“Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing it again.”
“Savvy?”
"I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of dirt! And guess what's inside it?"
That first quote sounds so silly to me. Glorifying dishonesty and all...
But, for a pirate, he is quite honest😏
Btw, does he really say "honestly" in there?
p.s. honesty=/=rudeness, you can say even something unpleasant without being mean (it's easy to see when someone mentions things because they like truth and being objective, and not because they want to insult others just to appear "brave"). Just saying, because I keep seeing ppl who confuse these and pretend they're just being honest when they're only trying to hurt/mock others.
@@hawkstrike18 Yeah, I just find the quote humorous. The way he delivers it cracks me up.
@@Mars-pn9ft ha, I know I take things more seriously than most ppl😛🧐
But if he says "honestly", it's obviously supposed to be humorous and I just had failed to pay attention...
@Hezekiah Hamblin Thank you for that blessing
Ugh...Jack is just such an amazingly written character it almost physically hurts me as an author. Just amazing!
It's not just a movie, or a piece of music🎶 - it's a great adventure into the imagination of an artist who knows no bounds. I am very fascinated ❤❤❤❤
Aye! Captain Jack Sparrow! The greatest captain I've ever seen. Mark my words!
this series will always bring me comfort. i will always be a pirate at heart and this soundtrack will always hold a very special meaning to me.
I couldn't decide which was my favorite, so here are all three:
Will: This is either madness or brilliance...
Jack: Its remarkable how often those two traits coincide
Jack: Crazy people don't know they're crazy. I know I'm crazy, therefore I'm not crazy, isn't that crazy?
Jack: Not all treasure's silver and gold, mate.
"Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate."
It pains me to listen to this because this is the best movies series and it hurts to know that Disney doesn’t make movies like this anymore. Nothings will ever live up to Pirates of the Caribbean💔
Pirates of the Caribbean means more to me than anyone I know could ever imagine
OMGGG the fact that this starts with Hans Zimmer's "one day" already has me in love! Thank you!
Forgot how much I looove Pirates! First three movies will always have a special place in my heart, thanks for uploading this!
This music makes me feel so nostalgic for the sea and for pirates. I love everything about it.
I named my Impala the Black Pearl because of Captain Jack's quote, " What the Black Pearl really is, is freedom " . I love road trips .
I just love this song! i listen it everyday during my job and i cry...i can not stop crying while listening this song. I feel the wind on my face...i feel the freedom that i need! Gratitude!
4:15 I swear I got literal chills with this, my brain imagined the whole scene
"Now, bring me that horizon! tanananananananananan... and really bad eggs...
...drink up me hearties, yo-ho!"
The sunset REALLY DOES match the ending of Curse of the Black Pearl!!!!
Just had a stroke yesterday. Had a strong feeling the sound of ocean waves would help. 3 minutes in and some symptoms already easing.
我住在台灣Taiwan,四面環海,你是曉得的,但我就好像埃及人,世界永遠只有沙漠跟紅海
Aye. The ocean's quite a sight ain't it?
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.
..
I don't know about the rest of ya, but personally, I feel such a connection to this series, and the sea. Either I was a pirate, sailor, convict or captain in my past life, but I just feel connected af. Beautiful ambience mate. 100%
I struggle with anxiety- here I am preparing for Monday’s long shift at work, usually I listen to your lord of the rings elvan themes but today I decided to go for one of the best movies of my childhood.. you NEVER disappointed❤️❤️ Thank you and peace & love from London 🌏❤️
I watched a video that helped with my anxiety. Let me know if you want the link. Hope things have been better
@kaytana zero I hope things get better for you
..I like to stock up on things from the health food store for anxiety ...rhodiola, passionflower, have not tried valerian yet, chamomile, passionflower& valerian tea, all the must have's.. hope this could help...
I am still convinced this is the greatest soundtrack of all time.
"Marry Me Suite" is so beautiful!
Beautiful, this is my childhood PIRATES FOREVER!
Hey Ambient.....I thought Narnia or the Shire was perfect. But this one? This one has got to be your best yet!! Thank you ever so much for the work you put into bringing us such great videos!!
This music can take me back in time when a pirate was living his life. Imagine going back in time to that era.
it is now my dream to see that sunset and listen to this video as the sun sets into the water and know that somewhere I am home.
That flute thing at the beginning. Its so beautiful.
Hey you. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well!
but i have hours of apush honework and a test tomorrow, trust me I wish I could go to bed lol
Hearing this music I slept for 3 hours and woke up as a classic pirate.
I was literally about to cry listening to this😭 Potc is one of my fav movies. I love this❤️
Better were the days when mastery of seas came not from bargains struck with eldritch creatures... but from the sweat of a man's brow and the strength of his back alone. Y’all know this to be true!
