Well he probably though because he has a dually that he has 4 tires with traction vs a single wheel axle so that's why the other guy was in 4x4. Now the problem is that the Chevy guy was in 4 low. Which would win a tug of war match if one truck was in 4x4 hi while the other truck being in 4 low, the 4ltruck in 4 low would win. Also I think the Chevy guy had his shit in park or holding his breaks. Cause the dually doesn't even make the Chevy back wheel move at all. Then all of a sudden u see the rear tires of the Chevy start to roll pretty fast for a split sec then slows down. That tells me Chevy guy wad on 4 low first gear. Less movement but more torque. This for guy was dumb to be in 2 wheel drive.

This instance was especially stupid or fake since there isn't much weight over the rear axle to be trying this in 2wd.

This hurts used to have a 7.3 Powerstroke myself, sold it & have a stock tune 7.3 idi. I kind of guessed the outcome of this before I clicked on it. The Duramax has way more power than that 7.3 Powerstroke will ever have because of the HEUI system. The HEUI system is the one downside to the Powerstroke. Other than that they’re great! Was a great first truck & had a lot of fun with it.

Ok. So I am a Duramax guy, I love my LMM. But, I appreciate all trucks, doesn't matter the brand, year, engine ect. They all have pro and cons. But, I do think if both trucks were in 4X4 it would have been way more fair, more patience in both drivers, so on and so forth, it would have been way closer. As soon as the 7.3 lost traction (also, the rear of an empty pickup truck weighs nothing, the actual downward grab and traction will come from the front, due to the weight of a diesel engine) it was obvious the Duramax would win. I think it could have been done differently to have the odds higher in both trucks favor.
The Ford should have been in four wheel drive wouldn’t even a fair pull there’s no way the Chevy would have won if the Ford was in four wheel. Great example of true sportsmanship though

The Cummins is the best period. Partially due to it being an I6. Look at 99% of Semi Trucks, they are all I6 and there is a reason for that.
