I own one also we’ve had no problems. The chain does need tightened. Thanks for the video it was helpful. It also helped me figure out that the chain cover has been missing since we bought it.
Quick question: We have been having the exact same issue with the chain popping off and even after tightening found it to still pop off I noticed a little play in the front sproket not sure if you experienced this as well or if tightening the chain solved ut for you
Maybe you tried this.. but it looks like if you jack it up, loosen the four bolts. Then loosen the smaller jam nuts, tighten the 2 small nuts on the tensioner which would allow you to pull the axle back evenly
If you use the small nuts you won't have to hold it back while you tighten the four. An it should hold until the chain stretches again. Periodically tou readjust until chain needs replaced. Changing the sprocket won't help
Thinking of upgrading Boyz from mod power wheels atv’s to a few of these really soon. 7yrold in 2 months that’s 4ft tall and a 5yr old that’s 3” behind. Good machines for $1000ea or should bigger son get a 125cc??? Asking for my wife. Lmfao. Zero experience other then mod Powerwheels 9.2mph. Thanks for any advise or help!!!
My son 7 has the 70 it's a blast, my daughter 11 has the bull 125, they are great. Me and the wife jump on em time to time. Like now when ours are getting the break in service done. But I'd say both have 100 miles on em in a month. Chains def have slop. My daughters went in for service today to get the chain adjustment and a headlight fixed as well as oil change. Lots of fun and memories with em.
@@KevDoesStuff good to know. I might take a peek at that once the kid is getting board of it. How did you end up changing the gearing? Was that a factory part?
We have two of these same size and year the chains just keep popping off no matter what I do! Is the chain still coming off of yours even after adjustment?
Any issues with the bike cutting out after slowing down from top speed? This keeps happening to my son, I called the dealership and they suggested an idle adjustment.
I got that all the time. We adjusted the idle a little bit. It idles slightly higher. Adjust the carb open a bit as well. It does not like cold weather at all. No matter how long it warms up in the cold it dies in the cold. The dealer could not figure it out. They said they would reach out to the sales guy and the sales guy said the warranty did not cover the carb! Only 5 hours on the machine. I'll be selling this fall for a polaris.

This was a perfect fix for 70! Thanks for posting it!

Any tips on how to get more low end power? I have to push the quad to get it to start going?
Adjust the idle if you can. Otherwise it is pretty slow on the low end.
@@brandonpinnon6015 I ended up changing the gearing. Made a massive difference. Thing rips now.

We have same machine 2 yrs no problem. Now chain is popping off
Yes! Chain continues to fall off. Pretty disappointing. I wonder if a different sprocket would help?
