Brilliant review. So glad I found you! I was corporate and have been mainline for 18 months. I can fly or drive to work as a commuter - Did you stick with barrister or go back to flight bag? Is flight too small for you? Want to put my DC OneX headset inside WITHOUT a case. Think it’d work?
Dude I am so glad I found your video. I'm also an airline pilot and I have been looking for a bag that looks more classy and professional than the normal LW stuff you see everyone using. How are you liking this bag as your flight bag???
I decided it would be too big for my purposes. As a commuter, I need something a little more compact and I figured out the SBL Flight Bag did everything I needed, so I am just going to stick with that one. Definitely check out the Flight Bag!
I looked at the size and it's basically the same size as my Contrail flight bag FL410P I'm not sure the pilot bag is big enough for all the stuff that I bring with me. I apprecaiate the feed back though! @@Reviews-For-You.
Thanks for your review mate. Still debating whether I should get the pilot’s or the barrister’s for my use. I’m using those chunky DCs headsets and the pilot’s might be slightly tiny haha
The Barristers is much, much bigger. I fly out tomorrow so I will see how this goes, hanging off my Luggageworks roller. It would easily fit your DCs but for me its more a question of, how big is too big when its hanging off the back of the roller and has to sit under the seat in front of me while commuting? If it had this width with the 2-inch shorter size of the flight bag, I think that would be the sweet spot!
@@Reviews-For-You. I know right that’s exactly my point ! Do you think you could fit the DCs plus a couple more things in the Pilot’s ? Let us know how your trip goes tomorrow ! Fly safe
The closure on the flight bag works pretty well. Obviously if its sitting out for awhile in intense rain, water is going to get in. But for brief periods, it works just fine.
I actually just sold it. If you recall, I had a Dave's Deals version and the separating of the fibers on the back bothered me. But the primary reason for the sale was because I make my own belts now and want to wear those instead, so no use keeping my SBL belts. I would still definitely recommend the Old Bull belt though, it is the thickest piece of leather I have ever seen.
I have several. One I tried to return...they just sent a replacement. I bought a few more. If there are no issues when they arrive....you probably won't ever have any. I love mine. The leather is indestructible...the only issue I had was rivet placement and crooked alignment. It likely would be as good...just not a s pretty.
Looks awesome! Nice size upgrade

curious how this closure works in the rain in keeping your stuff dry

How’s the old Bull belt holding up for you? Been wanting to buy one but was unsure.

Nice bag ... expensive lunch box.
Whilst it looks formal, I've stopped buying black leather goods for the simple reason that unlike brown leather, they don't patinate and age
Yes they do
@@themcmc Oh! Didn't know that. Ta for the gen
@@phugoid yup, you'll get nice wear marks and smoothing of edges, etc with Saddleback black leather
