Using the piston ring to hold the lens in the piston is absolute genius Bob! That was the first question that came to mind when you were cutting the plastic. "How is he going to hold it in the piston?" What a perfect solution!

I was thinking that some rods would be cool for tail light hangers. But the piston as the actual tail light is over the top. Man it sure looks good Bob. Keep em comin,watchin and learnin!!!

Love your show Bob. Yeah, the mirrors were cool, but yeah, you right, they did not fit the truck. I am sure someone will want them on ebay. The tail lights are genius. The wristpin hole and keeper with the lens is pure cool, and super functional. Keep up the good work. Tom
I wish I had turned out more like you and a lot less wild side of me stuff that got me in so many ways and that I was for known to have done. Spilt milk under the bridge. your honest and not a clickbaiter like so many have gone to be. I don't expect the world to take care of me and ask little of those who do help me. Hi Bob, you just gave me an ideal what to do with my small block chevy pistons laying in the corner of the barn floor. A neighbor gave them to me, didn't know what to do with them until now. I even got some tail lights on the self that I can make the lenses.
That was a great Idea Bob for tail lights, For sure a one of a kind well 2 of a kind lol
Hey Bob. Hope you and Red are doin well. I had an idea for the mirrors. Bend the mount on the mirror and mount them from the top. Let them hang down. I think it would look better. Y'all have a goodin!

The secret to cutting plastic with a hole saw, especially frozen siding in Canada 🇨🇦 , use hole saw in reverse.

How about making some new mirrors out of smaller pistons?

Larger piston for headlights mounted with contacting rods. The small formed hole at the end of the bed rail would be great for a small lens for turn signals.
A little imperfection keeps it art Bob!!!
Just another thought - IF you had some super big pistons, ya could turn into headlights. Way RAT ROD.
