Its fine man. It will automatically make a new one without the previous config for ubisoft. You will have a new host file with the new config for ubisoft.

No need to throw a tantrum over this bud. This is only one of the fixes that might work but still depends. "easy" doesnt mean guaranteed. The process is easy. If youre so much better then go fix it yourself cheers mate.

OBS: Guys the ''hosts'' file, first copy it and paste it to another place like PC or wherever you like, and then go back to where u found the ''hosts'' file originnally then delete it. It worked for me. AND ALSO donwload the ''ubisoft connect'' !! and log in from there after when u are done with these
@@ArakiForgot yeah im pretty good with pcs and nothing seemed to work so i factory reset my whole pc this is probably unnecessary for most but some of my heavy pc optimizations probably caused my problems

Tried this. It worked the app opened. But when I tried opening a game it errored and went straight back to the same problem.

For people like me that none of the many youtube videos was not working - check your anit-virus settings:) And uncheck "antivirus firewall" or "dam".

Theres a lot of fixes online. This is just one of the fixes. Try the other methods hopefully it will work
nothing works, once you have this problem you lose all of your games. support doesnt respond after months and nothing works, good luck bro.

Yes it is. Ubisoft connect was previously Uplay
