otterpoet I had the exact same reaction to seeing an R-rated war movie in 1978, very over-the-top violence at the time that made me upset... in his defense, I think my Dad REALLY didn’t want to see “Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown.” I spent the next few weeks drawing pictures of troops being dispatched in various horrible ways with my 64-color markers. My parents were concerned (my dad was berated for taking me to see “THAT FILM”) but I eventually went back to drawing regular stuff

@@ahmedsamehsayed it just wasn't very well done imo. And would come across as VERY ham-fisted and half-assed after all the show has done to nuance and breathe life into Homelander's arc. Basically it'd be a fucking waste, and cliche as all hell. We are all entitled to our opinion though.
