I think the DLC is phenomenal but honestly my favorite part is bayeks outfit. Once I got that outfit i never took it off for the rest of the playthrough and wore it for the entirety of the curse of the pharoahs. Maybe we will get that sequel one day....
That outfit seemed a bit cumbersome and a bit overdesigned to me.
I personally found this dlc really basic and the map was basically the same. Not sure what was interesting in this dlc except some outfits and the ending, specifically because of the ac2 music that plays in background in the ending of hidden ones, it really enhances it.
@@Wpeoplee
It adds a lot to the lore
Its shows bayek as a mentor, discovering a pair of poisoned daggers (later to become classic assasin tools)
Plus he creates the first rule of the assassins "stay your blade from the innocent"
I genuinely bought that DLC so I would have that outfit lol
Same, and I was actually pissed we don’t get such outfit in the main game
I loved this game so much that I 100% it.
Bayek's outfit in the DLC is one of the best Assassin robes in the series.
Orgins is just such a peak video game man. The Dlcs were so good
I always thought that this dlc was SUPER underrated and swept under the rug even though it did bring a traditional Assassin's Creed plot with a good built up villain comparable to Cesare Borgia, same with the Curse of the Pharaohs which I feel brought a more revelations kind of plot, and left on a cliff hanger with Sutekh dying and the apple gone. Bayek in a sense did get 2 sequels where we see great character development new worlds and well-written stories but he deserves at least one AAA game sequel, I hope Ubisoft doesn't abandon him as he has great potential greater than Edward or Ezio imo.
Where is my Assassin's Creed: Legion Ubisoft?😢😢😢
The Curse dlc was like, a whole new game to me, And ofcourse beautifully made
Yeah that was one of the best dlcs I played I played the base game completed it then came back 9 months later and re completed it and started the the curse dlc was like an entire new game to play
worst DLC ever
@handel1111 shuuut up lad it was sick had all the Egyptian pharaoh bosses on it! Boss fight are the best parts about the new rpg stuff
I bought it last week ,its incredible@@leacher1997
@@leacher1997 The curse is my favorite DLC ever. It was massive in itself and my god, going to the different planes of the afterlife - incredible. Each one is so damn amazing and interesting.
The hidden ones outfit for bayek is probably my favorite in the entire franchise.
I just really can't understand why they needed to rush to Odyssey after Origins... you could have evolved Aya's and Bayek's stories and personalities so much!! And the historical time and location is just so damm interesting.... Ubisoft can't seem to be able to spot gold when it's in front of them..
They were being made at the same time. Valhalla should’ve been Origins 2 tho.
@@trenaceandblackmetal5621Not at the same time. Origins started development 2013 almsot a year before Unity was released. Odyssey started development after Syndicate in 2015.
to be fair, AC Origins Gold Edition is a long ass game. If you continue to play Origins after Origins, then it wouldn't be very great, even though Origins is golden
Something tells me we will probably see an amunet game some time down the line they just don't wanna say it
Origins was the first game I played and I’m thankful I started this series off with this masterpiece. The story and characters are just 👌
Yeah I really liked Bayek as a protagonist, sad the next two games got out of hand though.
Agreed man. Just finished it now and had an absolute blast. Never took off that outfit either 😮💨
From a production standpoint, Origins' DLC was arguably peak Ubisoft and set the standard for AC going forward. Can only hope Red and Hexe continue the trend.
I think Mirage will be the best out of the next 3AC games. But I may be wrong..
Can only hope Bayek would get another DLC
Not really.
@@Wpeoplee yes really, it changed the franchise and kinda gave you a peak into the future at what's to come next (while being a good game itself,) the next two games not doing well is ubisofts fault, they could of worked on odyssey more and then made Valhalla more assassins based due to odyssey being before the assassins and such.
@@LordReskiy The next two games not being well? Well if we are talking about sales than both of them sold better than Origins, about the game quality itself, I love to debate with bandwagon chasers who base their opinion according to what the masses believe and debunk their argument, I'll say the objective truth, odyssey is superior to origins in every way except in terms of story and character personality. For some people story alone can be the point to call it a better game and I think that's understandable.
Origins is so incredibly beautiful. The sense of discovery is so grand.
This is actually my favorite DLC in all of AC. I've replayed Origins 3 times now just to do the DLC again.
That is some real dedication
Why so less
Loved this. Great content! "Sounds like quite the man." *tosses in piaster*
I think that AC Valhalla also made a heartfel and bittersweet reference to Bayek; as when you collect all codex pages, Hytham directs you to Reda, who has a very old letter in his possession. When you read it, it's a letter from Bayek, narrated by Abubakar Salim himself, wherein he he speaks to Aya in a very sweet way. In the letter he says that despite him being in the twilight of his life, he still thinks often of her (He also talks about how the Hidden Ones have started to create a codex, and, him trying to prevent another thing like in Sinai to happen, tells Amunet to go and destroy the pages, or at least tells her to stop them from making more. It does add a little into why Bayek was "forgotten", as he decided to stay anonymous on purpose (He doesn't even mention either his or Aya's name in his letter).
Fun fact: the reason why, unlike Bayek, Amunet was remembered more strongly, is because her Assassination of Caesar became a very public thing very quickly, therefore making it so it became common knowledge to many that she was involved. It's only after it that she was like "Yeah, maybe being more discreet is the way to go". (This was all covered in a comic series about what happened when she left for Rome at the end of the game.)
Finally a full video talking about this masterpiece of a DLC.
The Hidden Ones´ has this kind of feeling of perfect mix between classic AC and RPG Assassin´s Creed. Every time i replay this game i can´t wait to replay this DLC because you feel and see the construction of the Brotherhood, its theorical reconsiderations and practical applications.
Bayek obviously helps aswell. What a main character. Seeing him as a mentor, recruiting new members, talking with fellow Hidden Ones has the same vibe as Ezio in Revelations. And that´s some high up standard.
I kinda wished they added some mechanics, like social stealth and a more important role of the Brotherhood itself, but i still consider it peak Assassin´s Creed. Yeah, just like that, PEAK.
7:51 ahahhaha I remember this so well from when I played this dlc. It exactly describes why I love Bayek so much and with that the whole game including DLC’s. These kind of nonchalant and sober jokes is what makes this guy so charming. Such a great protagonist ❤️🔥
I genuinely was so hooked by this DLC that I finished it in under a day. There is so much to like; Bayek's outfit, Sinai, the story, everything.
Great video! Keep up the good work!
Amazing vid! I recently played through the hidden ones dlc and loved it :)
Love your video and keep up the great work you are awesome
When I played Origins in NG+ a few months ago, I played this after Curse of the Pharaoh exactly because it gives much more closure. It feels like a more natural progression. And well, maybe with infinity we will one day get our sequel in Rome. One can dream
If you post and I see it I will always immediately watch the video because I already know that it will be great
PLease continue with the last DLC, is a must.
The closet we will ever get to a origins sequel.
Origins was my first assassins creed game I knew about the series but thought it looked boring boy was I wrong playing this game felt great the story telling was beautiful i did go back and play some of the older games
I loved how involved with the main story it was. There's rarely a dlc with a continuation of the templars/ order of the ancients. And the ending was just beautiful.
U killing me with these Origins videos. Makes me wanna jump back in with my favorite Assassin Aka Hidden One but It's too close to Mirage tho.
Same
Mirage sucks... Cash grab flop. It was dlc turned into a main game and it shows. It's 12 hrs... Stay with origins and curse of pharoahs and hidden ones dlc...ITS THE G.O.A.T! Mirage is trash bro. New doesn't mean better.
@@josephvegas3052 facts
10:03 The mostly unspoken struggle between these two is still so obvious and you really feel that when playing this game. Seeing them reunite later feels incredibly good but then it’s really sad when the ending screen is there
Cant wait for you to review The Curse of the Pharaohs, great video
I actually really loved playing both of the DLCs with a perfect expansion of an already fantastic game! Replaying everything yet again.
I've played pretty much all the DLC for the main games and this is my overall favorite. I love Bayek's Hidden Ones outfit, the story behind establishing one of the tenets of the creed and exploring the Hidden Ones further as well as showing Aya as Amunet, the mission where you sneak through a fleet of ships was fun, and getting to explore a new area was great plus it had an obelisk. I do agree that I wish Amunet was in the story longer and the map can be difficult due to areas involving mountains plus the right side of the map just has an empty desert. Overall, a fantastic DLC that actually connects to the main story.
I haven't played the curse dlc yet but I played the hidden ones and I loved it so much.
10:41 the music in the background is so nostalgic 🥲. I would love to see a Curse of the pharaoh video like this one as well
Awesome video!!
The scene with the blind musician singing his praises was so..perfect
i dont know when but i have to play this game again. ahhh originss only good memories i have from you
It’s not a story moving things forward but there is an Origins prequel novel called Desert Oath that shows the origins of Bayek as a medjay and the early development of his relationship with Aya.
Nice video, anything related to Assasins Creed Origins is good as for me.
I am playing AC Orgins right now, I look forward to play this DLC when the time comes.
3:12
I love how you carefully avoid any spoiler as you describe the quest while in the meantime spoiling absolutely everything on screen 😅
i just bought this dlc after peaking at this video and the thing that stuck out to me is “it’s over bayek i have the high ground” from that rebel leader guy i forgot how to spell his name lol
I’m an old head and been playing ac series since ac 2 but when ac origins came out I’ve always had trouble placing either bayek or ezio as my number 1 😅 both are beautifully made characters
Ali in Mirage reminded me so much of Gamilat in The Hidden Ones.
I literally just finished this game and both DLC for the 5th thine yesterday. My favourite of the recent RPG assassins creed
Origins, AC Rogue and AC1 have to be the only three AC games I haven't played.
I wanted to mention AC 3, but I just bought the Odyssey season pass, and I will play it soon.
You know what would be amazing? If you created a full story video where you completely tell the story from the beginning of the base game to the end of the last dlc (curse of the pharaoh). I because of life getting in the way a couple of times it took me almost 3 years to 100% this game with lots of breaks in between which is a huge shame 😢. That’s why I’d love to see a video to see it all come together
Currently going for my last trophy, completing all locations, just to play this amazing game again. ❤
I'm actually playing origins and enjoying it quite a lot I have got nearly 100% completion and I just need the 100 trinkets trophy and then I have got the platinum
I'm 50 hrs in origins and only halfway through main story... love this game... and just purchased hidden ones and curse of pharoahs dlc. Got origins for $8 pharoahs dlc $8 and hidden dlc $4 that's $20 for game and both dlc's! What a deal! Enjoying this just as much as ghost of tsushima-serious
@@josephvegas3052 I 100% the game in 150h
My favourite ac game and it has some of my favourite DLC's I wish I could replay this game a million times over for the first time.
i always wanted an amunet sequel, so instead of playing as bayek you play as her, after this dlc and you still see him as if you’d see her as him. gives us more in depth into her and finally get to play another one of their statues
I love your videos and have been watching them no stop
when I bought Origins all of the DLC were already out so I bought them all at once Origins was my favourite game and Origins was really easy for me especially for someone who plays Dark Souls a lot but I maxed out all Assassin's Creed games by byeing every single thing I can for every single one of them
Man oh man we all still want a bayek sequel clearly. It wouldve been nice to see him in ancient rome in a sequel. This game is the only game that gives you that ac 2 and brotherhood feeling
I just bought all the DLC for AC Syndicate, Origins and Odyssey on a PSN sale so I’m glad to hear that they’re worth playing.
I'm enjoying your videos these days and I'd like to see you review ac odyssey legacy of the first blade dlc.
If AC: Origins ever got a sequel then it really made more sense for it to take place from Amunet's point of view with Bayek as a supporting character. Now that would've been great.
You can get the Gold Edition for about 18 USD when they do discounts, so far this year only, this has happened 4 times. Will likely get a discount for Christmas as well.
the son of the scarab mission will always be the highlight of this dlc for me.
in rainbow six siege there is a ezio skin for one of the operators and the skin is called “master assassin”
Loved this DLC. I play in PS4 and platinum everything. Some games are chores... this one was a pleasure!
i just finished the entire with both DLCs and trust me bro the adiction of this game will last for many days
this DLC gave us two legendary mounts and i'm thankful for that
Bayek was my favourite character in the franchise its a shame we never got a sequel with him I think if he had received multiple games like Ezio than his story would be on a different level
I played The Hidden Ones approximately a year after finishing the main game (it was for 4€ on microsoft store 🤣) and then approx a month later The Curse of Pharaohs was on discoun too... So I played them both consecutively and The Hidden ones was definitely better. I real shid cried when Tahira passed and when Bayek had to yet again say goodbye to Aya.
THe curse of pharaohs was too much and was not making much sense to me either. it felt like an acid trip and for a dlc it was waaaay too long.. heck no wonder it originally cost like 20€ 🤣
The intro went so hard
Ac origins and Horizon series are my favourite becos of the bow and arrows.
Origins nowadays is just seen as yet another RPG ac but wow on release it was such a huge change
been replaying this and curse of the pharos getting ready for mirage still my favorite assasins creed game to date im hoping mirage can compete in terms of story and gameplay
just bought AC Origins last night. Waiting to get the new PC and then I am diving into it.
I gotta play origins again it is classic no doubt
broski you should make a lets play channel or something
I loved AC Origins, and this DLC, is the only DLC that i 100%d, do other DLC got me going like this! And i totally agree with you!
Man this dlc is so goated the best one after dead kings in my opinion
Can you make a video about the ac chronicles games? Luv ur videos I have watched all of them
Honestly the dlc price is well worth bayek’s hidden one outfit itself. One of the most underrated assassin outfits ever. Definitely one of my favourites
Origins is my favorite AC game outside of the Ezio trilogy. I wasn't too fond of his master assassin outfit though. I wished that the Maasai Leader (white with blue eagle) outfit was his master outfit with a red eagle and red sach instead of blue. That outfit was one of the best-looking outfits in the game along with the Persian leader outfit. Only thing I didn't like on the Persian leader was the bronze armor, I with that armor was silver or the darker iron color like on the Persian Prince.
Wanna play it and dlc so worth to play and love what’s in it
My favorite DLC!
Bayek's Assassin Drip is SO GOOD
Man i miss the the good character Models and Animations from back there
This DLC was good, but curse of the Pharoah was like a different game and levels better than the original. Duat, Field of reeds, Valley of Kings ❤
I have just bought assassin's Creed origins and the season pass on sale when every single one was on sale on Xbox and almost ever other game to my favorite assassin's Creed game is AC black flag but my second favorite is AC origins it's just such a great game man I don't care what people say I personally enjoy the newer RPG games so
Haha I just finished that dlc yesterday. Such a coincidence. 😊
Dude! I’m replaying origins now and I didn’t even know this DLC existed, fucking awesome
my first ac game. tbh ive bought and played every other relase prior and after since i played origins and quite frankly none of them stack up. Nightmare difficulty all the way through is a must. Yes i did the Aya boss fight on nightmare as well.
Number one I love master assassin and I can’t wait to play mirage I preordered it at like the beginning of the month
My only nitpick with the Hidden Ones outfit is the short sleeves. I would have preferred full or no sleeves.
any chance you would be streaming AC Mirage when it comes out or just making videos on it
I always wanted a sequel to this DLC, and in some ways AC: Mirage is, or at least i hope.
I just wish that the ambient music in these games were more prevalent. They make these massive beautiful world, but unless you're traveling by horse, you're greeted with silence while you're exploring.
Imagine AC 2 Venice without it's music or Black Flag without the sea songs. It would make traverse the world boring really fast.
Assassin's Creed 1,2,B,R and BF are fondly remembered for a variety of reasons, but in my opinion, the music is an important one. It elevated the experience and makes it stick more.
If you can , make a video about Legacy Of The First Blade DLC some day later
You are great narrator
hello there.i love assasins creed franschise in general.until now i have played odyssey,syndicate,3 remastered.liberation.now i started origins and i find it really amazing.i was just thinking of buying dlcs for it and i got the following question..how many dlcs are there for assasins creed origins? the hidden ones and the cruse of pharaos? after hidden ones you can reach lvl 45 and after curse of pharaos 55? anyone who knows for sure pls tell me.thank you in advance
i played and finished this game and had no clue there was a dlc for this game lol
I really wanna play the origins and odyssey DLC but my save files are on am old ps4 I sold when I was drunk. Can't bear the thought of another 100 and whatever hours just to play the dlc haha
You should do a rank video for best assassin creed games
Obviosly ODYSSEY is number 1 ha ha
I just bought the season pass for 12 bucks I’m excited to play origins again especially after that sweet 60 fps update❤
The dlc was sometimes better than the main game at giving the assassin feeling. it felt back to roots when I played it
Hmm just complete Main story of Origin now, guess I should buy this DLC for the coincidence that this Video just pop up at the right time lol
All the dlcs for origins are in my opinion the best in the series. They are really well done. Origins did story telling in an rpg well
I have literally just finished it again an hour ago😊
Hey does it it work on the normal one or golden version
