In each film, an adult lies to the children in their care to try to spare them from fear: “Get on the bus, protection from the blast.” “Tell your boy it’s gonna be alright, Gordon. Lie. Like I lied.” “Bruce, it’s okay… don’t be afraid.”
The second film is definitely elevated by Heath Ledger's performance. If you judge them solely by the villains, it's the best. But when it comes to Bruce's story outside the Batman costume, The Dark Knight Rises soars. I love what they did with his character here!
Agreed the acting done by Heath was outstanding and was so fitting to the Gotham feel, just the chaos and unpredictability. But with this one is was just that hard punch, up close action that you love and they picked an amazing character to carry that out with Bane and Bruce’s story colliding. Enjoy every bit of the Trilogy regardless of whichever one is at the top!
@@DaKidsReact ofc we miss something sometimes but this is just brain turned off not registering what the eyes are seeing and why people are confused is because in moments like that huge plot reveal like this one snaps you out of it. + its even more incredible you miss such a huge reveal when you decided to put a camera and film yourself watching a finale of trilogy...
One of my favorite small details was in the masquerade party scene (17:18), everyone was in masks except for Bruce, because like Rachel said, Bruce is the mask, Batman is his true face.
"You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it." Hardest line in the whole movie. Tom Hardy was such a monster in this one. He's great in damn near everything he touches. I definitely recommend the show "Taboo" if you wanna see Hardy in another amazing role (as well as "Legend" & "Bronson" movies. This trilogy probably won't be topped anytime soon, Nolan (Tenet is another amazing one to check out) is just different. 44:45 And I can't believe I never noticed Hines Ward in there, damn good eye. I'm almost ashamed I missed that being a Steelers fan. Just goes to show that I've seen this movie easily over a dozen times and still miss things.
Ahh nice to see someone genuinely enjoying. Seems like some critics and fan geeks were saying this one was the bad one. It was different and fully enjoyable to me and i appreciate film theory, character arcs and so on and still don't know what those idiots were complaining about.
I think it's the weakest of the trilogy but it's still a 9/10, just like the other two. It's more like Top 50, while Batman Begins is Top 30 and The Dark Knight is Top 10. Nolan doesn't know how to make bad movies.
I know Jolene Van Vught, she's a Canadian ex pro woman's AMA motocross racer, part of the Nitro Circus crew, and was the stunt double on the bike for Cat Woman in this movie, it was actually her very first role as a stunt woman...Quite the role for her first movie! They couldn't find another woman that could actually ride it because of the weight and balance (or lack thereof) of the bike, so the male stun double (another pro motocross racer) recommended her. She's also the first woman ever to do and land a backflip to dirt on a full sized dirtbike (RM250) off a freestyle comp ramp... Aswell as willingly sending it into the grand canyon on a street bike with a parachute, alongside two other people, one of which was Travis Pastrana... A freestyle and Ralley car legend, and also known for jumping out of a plane in his underwear without a parachute. It was her very first BASE jump ever that day, and with only 2 prior skydives to her credit the day before going into the Grand Canyon lmao. She actually did two BASE jumps that day, the last of which was tandem in the bike with Travis, it nearly killed her because she didn't get away from the bike correctly and then couldn't track away from it once seperated from the bike... Travis for about 30 minutes after thought she was dead after he pulled his chute and last saw her still falling with the bike ontop of her...she somehow pulled it, but zero base jumps and only 2 solo skydives leading into it isn't exactly the most legal thing to do, especially with no skydiving license or experience...but Jolene was/is a badass that could hang with anyone. Stunt people deserve a lot more credit than what they get, they sacrifice a lot to make these movies as good as they are.
Bane is just as smart as Batman. He figured out Batman was Wayne just from how he walks in the comics. In the Arkham games, he figured it out from just 6 words
@1:04:04 Bane’s army were shooting at feet of the police before they got too close. Fantastic finish to the trilogy with y'all, that was a great watchalong. I hope you give Guy Ritchie's Rock 'n' Rolla or Man From Uncle a try next; I think you'll love it!
You guys had the best reaction to Banes monologues and speech during the fight… chills man, when you really listen to Bane “Peace has cost you your strength. Victory has defeated you” “You nearly adopted the dark.” “I was born in it, molded by it ” “You fight like a younger man, nothing held back, admirable, but mistaken.” A lot of people didn’t like this version of Bane, but his lines were cold and conveyed an emotion. Between him casually speaking as like he hasn’t lost his breath, while Batman looking exhausted seconds into the fight. Taking 4-6 hits just to lay Batman down with one. Showed not only power, but that what he was saying was right.
That part where Bane drops the Batman and breaks his back, in the sewer fight.. That’s right out of the Knightfall comicbook arc. The 3 comicbooks TDKR takes influence from is: - The Dark Knight Returns - Knightfall - No Man’s Land
1:20:45 I'm glad you remembered that... If you remember when he goes to the masquerade party.. they ask why he isn't wearing a mask . And he said he is... Cause like you said.. he is Batman.. Bruce Wayne is the costume.
Great video as usual. Love how yall figured out he would use the missiles behind him to swing back around and take out one of the tanks. I'd like to recommend "The hunt for Red October" its not as exciting, but its a classic for a reason.
Props to yall for keepin in "the fire rises" and showing how willing his followers are to sacrifice themselves. Yall fr the only reactors to do that that I seen. Good shit 💯 🔥

Christian Bale did such an amazing job as Batman, we enjoyed every bit of him during this trilogy. We will definitely have to see more of him and other films because his acting was great in these.
This film borrows heavily from two major comic book storylines Knightfall (which it's famous moment recreated when Bane broke Batman's back). After that, the cowl was handed over to a guy named Azrael for a short while. The second storyline was No Man's Land, when Gotham became cut off from the rest of the country, and the supervillains were running things, their was little law enforcement.
Good reaction, guys :) Love your chemistry. I hope you react to Snyderverse too: Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League & Aquaman.

You guys should now go watch College humors, 'Badman' series, it's so damn funny. it's one of the rare videos where I actually laugh out loud, to the point my ribs hurt. The one with ras's (may of spelled that wrong) daughter in the bank, in prison with the penguin, and then talking with superman are a few of my favorite clips... and surprisingly, he's spot on with Bales Batman voice, which makes it all the more better. "You sucked my dick... I fight crime all day in a rubber suit, really SEALS IN THE FLAVOR!" *Badman kills everybody with an AR while talking about his one rule* Penguin: "I thought you didn't kill people?" Badman: ".... yeah, it's like, my one rule" *kills another person* Penguin: "then what was that?!" Badman: "shhh, you'll wake them. Look at him, he's all tuckered out." Penguin: "You think.. they're sleeping? You do know what death is, right?" "Of course I know what death is." *kills another person*
I loved your reaction to the Robin reveal! So weird to have such an epic movie contain one of the most laughable death scenes in movie history, and you two cracked me up copying her head flop! Woke my dogs up ... Old Musician From Seattle
“The shadows betray you, because they belong to me”…… fucking epic film!!!!
One of the best lines ever tbh!
@@DaKidsReact absolutely!! Christopher Nolan doesn’t know how to make a bad film with bad dialogue. Just a genius. Loved the reaction my guys. X
Christopher Nolan wrapped up this trilogy perfectly, challenging future directors "Go ahead and top that!".
“Ahhhh. You think darkness is your ally…”
Legendary line right there!🔥
"You merely adopted the dark.. "
"I was born in it. Molded by it..."
“I didn’t see the light until I was already a man and then it was nothing to me but BLINDING”
I still randomly spout this spiel randomly. “Blinding” is my favorite part 😂😂
It’s never not funny to me whenever people watch this film and see how terrifying Bane’s character is but always acknowledging that boy is fitted 😂
“You’ve made a serious mistake”
“Not as serious as yours” 🔥
What Tom Hardy can do with his voice is crazy. Tom Hardy also not only played Venom, but he also did the voice for Venom.
Yeah, Christopher Nolan and his team are masters at casting for villains. The writing & directing for the villans in all 3 of these movies is a 10/10.

“Get on the bus, protection from the blast.”
“Tell your boy it’s gonna be alright, Gordon. Lie. Like I lied.”
“Bruce, it’s okay… don’t be afraid.”
Edited out one of my favorite lines:
“This is the stock exchange, there’s no money to steal here”
“Really. Then why are you people here?”
Bane is a menace lol Tom Hardy did an amazingggg job bringing that character to life
The second film is definitely elevated by Heath Ledger's performance. If you judge them solely by the villains, it's the best. But when it comes to Bruce's story outside the Batman costume, The Dark Knight Rises soars. I love what they did with his character here!

This film borrows heavily from two major comic book storylines Knightfall (which it's famous moment recreated when Bane broke Batman's back). The one with ras's (may of spelled that wrong) daughter in the bank, in prison with the penguin, and then talking with superman are a few of my favorite clips... and surprisingly, he's spot on with Bales Batman voice, which makes it all the more better.
"You sucked my dick... I fight crime all day in a rubber suit, really SEALS IN THE FLAVOR!"
*Badman kills everybody with an AR while talking about his one rule*
Penguin: "I thought you didn't kill people?"
Badman: ".... yeah, it's like, my one rule" *kills another person*
Penguin: "then what was that?!"
Badman: "shhh, you'll wake them. Look at him, he's all tuckered out."
Penguin: "You think.. they're sleeping? You do know what death is, right?"
"Of course I know what death is." *kills another person*
I loved your reaction to the Robin reveal! So weird to have such an epic movie contain one of the most laughable death scenes in movie history, and you two cracked me up copying her head flop! Woke my dogs up ... Old Musician From Seattle
They talked over the best bit 🤣🤣🤣
It happens when reacting🤣🤷🏾
