I know that feeling when you start painting a wall and think to yourself, "Oh, I don't know..." But you keep painting thinking it will get better or you will get used to it, or maybe the second coat will make a difference. So then you go to bed exhausted from painting and wake up to the new color. And you think, "Oh Heck NO!"
You were much smarter and stopped yourself well before then. If it's not right, it's not right!
I loved your reaction to your Mom's paintings. They were beautiful and she really captured Kinsley's personality.

I LOVE that you didn’t paint the frames all the same color! Which is such an overdone trend and this is such a breath of fresh air. They look so beautiful in their original state and give the space a much more elevated look 🙌

So I love almost everything but I feel like the chairs need to have some kind of black in it so it doesn’t blend in with the table too much. Maybe it just came across that way on screen or something. Regardless I absolutely love all your work. You’re so talented and inspiring. ❤️❤️❤️

Our pets are indeed a part of our family and the love we have for them is just as strong. No wonder you have such an artist's eye, your mom's paintings that she whipped up for you are truly spectacular, and you certainly inherited her artist's soul. You’re very fortunate to have art that was created by your mom, who is an AMAZING artist. So was my mom, and I have none of her art and just a couple of her textiles. (She could make anything!) Love it! It's an " All Grown up" look. The overhead light turned out great. Love the DIY pantry. Inspires me to do same. But what really got me was looking at your pic frames. They so remind me of my aunt that was like a mother to me. A couple of them looked exactly like hers, and took me to a few happy memories of her when she was still with us. Nice job.

What are your plans when you eventually move? Are we just repainting before you move? (Genuinely asking because I’m a renter and I’ve thought about doing that)
I obviously don’t know what she’s doing. However some landlords don’t care as much. Some don’t want you to paint and repaint and some don’t care if you screw holes and paint the walls and leave it. Just depends on the contract between the renter and landlord.
Back in the sixties, my parents had a gallery and sold those exact kind of frames to artists. They were very expensive at the time. Seeing them again really brought back memories.
Your mom is ultra talented. That middle painting was so serene and gave the same openness to the space that a mirror or window would give. LOVE it .
